I have a Davis I bought from a barn sale about 25 years ago. She sews and looks ok but I'd never considered painting her and making her more enjoyable to work with. This is really cool!!

This is my favorite sewing machine restoration ever. Pivoting from the lacey theme to the industrial is a huge win!. If fact I like all of your restos. They are such a freshing change from the sea of black machines that all look the same.

what about if u dont have that machine to get the rust off or a heat gun o do you have to sand them down??? can i use coke instead like the ppop to help get the rust off

My 66 is a red-eye treadle from 1916. My mom taught me to sew on her and when I inherited her several years ago I took her about half apart - too many bits were confusing and frozen. With this video I think I may try again! Thank you
