Yes they are quite plentiful and although this was a good year, there are usually many. My next two videos from the Texas Hill Country are even more so. At one point the bluebonnets are so numerous that it's hard to tell where the bluebonnets stop and the lake starts. Thanks for your support!

What an interesting walk. I haven't been down to the river walk in over two decades. As I'm not a fan of crowds, I can see I won't be making a return visit during spring break either. Thanks!
@findushere20 күн бұрын
Thanks! Spring Break is definitely not the time if you don't like crowds! Fall is usually a much better time. I have seen it then when you could just basically get right on the river boats. It's still a fun place with great places to eat anytime though. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.

Thanks for the great video tour of this interesting place. I have heard people talk about the river walk, but only saw a handful of photographs. As I watched, I thought that I will probably never vacation there, but that I would love to catch a professional conference hosted in one of the hotels there. It would be a great place to explore between conference sessions.

You're welcome! When I was working in education, we had conferences there pretty often and it was great for that. There's lots of good food and lots of places to explore in addition to the River Walk. Thanks for the comment! Hope you can make it down there one day.

It was certainly raining the week we were on this cruise but I was prepared and it didn't bother me that much. I also heard from someone on the cruise the next week and the weather was good so it's probably hit or miss. I've heard the same things in May. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thank you!!! I am autistic and new, unknown situations make me nervous. My mom surprised me with this cruise and I was struggling to feel grateful with all the unknowns as I've never cruised before. Last night I watched a few bubbly, talkative travel guide videos that made my head spin. Your video was calm, direct, beautifully shot and informative. You have shown me what to expect and it has really helped me prepare for my trip. I was able to understand the layout, what people wear on cruises, what the towns look like, the train! (which was my only request!) and what to expect from the different dining options (I'm picky about my food wants and needs). Thank you so so so much.
@findushere28 күн бұрын
You're very welcome! It's so nice to hear that what I do is helpful to someone. Your cruise does not have to be stressful. You can find many places on board the ship to just sit back, relax, and take it all in with zero stress. Also the ports are easy to take at your own pace. The White Pass Railway is a great trip. I've taken it many times and keep going back to do it again. There are so many choices of food that I think you'll be able to find plenty of things you'll like that will meet your needs. Thank you again for watching and commenting. I hope you have a great cruise! If you have questions, feel free to reach out.

Although I loved seeing everything about this cruise and you did great job of narrating, and the video, the only thing that was off putting was pictures of the food, the shots were to up close and blurry, taking pictures of your food before it is eaten is more appealing than after you have eaten it. But the rest was very good 👍🏻

I got married in 1978; we honeymooned in Branson because I was in college and my wife was secretary, hence we had no money. Honestly, not a tremendous amount has changed. The most notable change, of course, is that Highway 76 now has a turn lane. Other than that, it’s mostly repetitious - every few hundred yards is a repeat of the last. Of course, now there are scores of buildings and entertainment centers for sale. We still go to Branson every few years - I don’t know why exactly, as every trip is punctuated with more places that are out of business. But there is a Walmart now, for your shopping pleasure.

I would love it if the traffic on the strip was that light all of the time, but I'm sure the businesses there want it to be much busier. I do like how easy it is to move quickly on the Red route on the west end. Watching these videos helped me avoid driving mistakes on my May 31st trip. Thanks. I was proudest of the fact that I was able to leave the Americana Theater after a night show, take a right turn to the Blue route, and take it to some side street between Forsythe and Fall Creek Rd. I took a right, went through a residential neighborhood and came out by Grand Country with time to spare to get into their 10:30 televised show on Friday night. For someone who struggles with driving at night, that was an amazing experience. Anyway, thanks for another wonderful video.

I’m very interested to hear how many luggage one needs to pack for such a trip? If one for you I guess it will be two for a woman 😂. And do you think mid May is a good month to travel on an Alaskan cruise?
@findushereАй бұрын
I traveled with one large checked bag and a backpack but I packed two large coats for friends in addition to mine in my luggage and also a sports jacket for formal nights. I also packed a flannel pull over and zip up and a waterproof shell. If I hadn't been packing the big coats, it would have been too large for me. One lady in my group was able to pack in one checked bag and small carry on minus the coat I packed for her. I think May is a good time but I hear it can be cool and rainy one week and beautiful the next. That being said it rained on us all week and since I was prepared I still enjoyed it thoroughly!
