It would be very cool to see a Tarantino "Casino Royale" with Uma, but not with Brosnan, he´s such a bad actor, worst James Bond ever (counting Geaorge Lazenby). Shocking! He has the looks but nothing more.

Henry Cavill would be a terrible Bond. He's a lousy actor. Idris Elba would be even worse. Too old, too black, too lacking in charisma. ATJ would be a good Bond IMHO. He has the look and the menace of Bond. To be honest though I don't see any more Bond films being made. Daniel Craig ended it for good.

Should have been Henry Cavil, and not this who ever this guy is!. Henry Cavil just looks like Bond, feels like Bond, and acts like and upgraded version to Daniel. Craig. If fans don’t get past him in the first Bond movie he makes, he could not go beyond the first movie he appears in, or at the very most the second Bond movie!.

Please stop with the Idris Elba! James Bond is NOT black--PERIOD! However, I do think, and I know that you would agree, that Idris Elba would make a great Charlie Chan, the Chinese detective. I think Idris was born to play Charlie Chan! He's the right age for the role, and I KNOW that the Chinese people would LOVE him, and embrace him as their own, and would rush out to theaters by the millions to support him!

I struggled with Prometheus and covenant. I understand it’s Ridley’s creation. But he let Cameron do Aliens, so let Blomkamp do his. The reason Ridley didn’t let it happen is because it would be a continuation from Cameron’s Aliens.

I think Ridley has gotten to the age, and "level" (for lack of a better word), where he is simply "mailing in" his movies. He hands off and delegates so much that he basically isn't even the director anymore, he's "only" the executive producer. That was apparent from Prometheus and A:C both, and so, I am QUITE happy if another director---a capable one, like hopefully Fede will prove to be---takes over to preserve continuity and to keep pushing the franchise forward instead of letting it languish with horribly twisted scripts and overpolished, crappy CGI and writing (the direction RS was taking it). I did, however, love the story of prometheus, and thought there were a lot of questions and good bones there, so I still think that that story line can be explored as well, but it sort of needs to be distingushed as the "Prometheus" lineage, as apposed to the "Alien" lineage, so as to not disappoint casual viewers the way it did the first time round.
@martinparks630

To me,the most fascinating part of the original alien was the desolate ship and the dead space jockey. Prometheus was an amazing movie I enjoyed Ridley story and expanding on the lore. The problem came with all the fan criticism. I mean let the guy finish the story. Alien covenant was not a bad movie but it was a mess because he was trying to please everybody. It was suppose to be paradise lost. And Im really interested in knowing where he was going to take that movie. We will never know

Ridley has had some visions for both Blade Runner and Alien that changed overtime and inconsistent with the franchises. Ideas that conflict with the original writers and the best facets. That said I do like Prometheus as its own thing and watch it as such but as an 'Alien' film I can't consider it as canon. Prometheus is a heretical text 😉
@maximummovies1

I don't understand how anybody can tell Ridley Scott how the Alien universe should play out. At this point, you can either like where they're taking the storyline or not; but, I'll still differ to the creator of the franchise out of respect when it comes to where the franchise should go. I can't imagine creating a story and constantly hearing people whom have no involvement in the creation other than being spectators/fans speaking on where the story should go. Everyone has a right to not like any film; however, do non-creators have a right to proclaim what direction a creator should take their work?

Ridley has shown he has no idea what to do with the franchise and really exposes that it wasn’t really him that made Alien such a classic. It was because of Giger and O’Bannon, along with James Cameron expanding Ripley’s character and solidifying what she was becoming in the first film.

@@greggsmith4570 He doesn’t know what he wants to do, it shows in his story telling from movie to movie. There is a clear difference between what O’Bannon wrote and what Scott has written. While his films are visually spectacular, the stories make little to no sense, and make more questions than they even answer. There are endless videos that support what I am stating, so it’s not only me that “didn’t like what he had in mind for the franchise.” Clearly that’s what I think, but it’s also just blatantly obvious that his prequel movies have not been good and he doesn’t really know what story he wants to tell.
