I've struggled with it for decades.. had quit for a number of yrs and my ex-wife got me to try wine which led me back again to hard alcohol. I still drink but I pray daily to quit. Could really use your prayers . Please help. I'm so tired of alcohol but the taste, I can taste it just looking at it

This poor woman is a narcissistic idiot who is plainly occupied with her own material success rather than helping others.

I don't Hate AA..just glad I realized I don't need it...I like some of the slogans and speaker meetings...but I find the people are just as two faced, flawed and messed up as anyone else

The risks on your health of going to meetings are certainly less than the risks of being an alcoholic...

Thd term slchcholuc is outdated , unless your alchchol deoendant...Ot puts the onus on the persob and not the addictive substance..

You know its not an issue of will power, its a fucking disease. You never drank Scope on a Sunday morning to cure your hangover, covered in puke did you? Its obvious your drinking was a result of emotional and physiological issues not your genetics. Uptight and white is not the same as alcoholism.

Excellent video, almost four (4) years sobriety. Never went back to the AA meetings, didn’t agree with introducing myself as Calvin “ Alcoholic “.

Thank you. You put into words what has bothered me about AA. I have over 30 years of experience and hundreds of meetings. It’s old hat and boring. I find volumes of deliverance , faith and hope in my Catholic faith. Recovery is there if you seek it. Thank you Emma

It does help some people, some people it doesn’t. I’ve been sober for 16 years from drugs and alcohol and I used AA for the first year or so of my sobriety. I am not religious but that didn’t matter. If anything helps anyone in the slightest it should be considered a great thing

It does get updated it takes the group conscious to make a change we vote on it at district meetings then take it to area meetings then the delegate will take the area conscious to new york the program works if you work it
