Good information provided, but I do have to take issue with something. It seems like you guys want to make hard nihilism synonymous with nazism but not communism? Then you associate nazi philosophy with western philosophy because of mass killings? What, there weren't mass killings in islamic countries, in China, Japan, India, Africa? Every country of any size had mass killings repeatedly, so that's not only a feature of "western philosophy". Furthermore, nazism is a form of socialism as is communism which are all also collectivism. So, nihilism (self destructivism, despair, chaos and worthlessness) is associated with collectivism and socialism.

The world is round comment is so shallow. It was the European communuty including the Catholic Church that were informed of the global sphere. Because someone else in yhe world thought it was true did not mean that the new information eas nit valid Thus kind of comment callin it " deconstruction" is academic nonsense.

33:00 thank you, I always make this point too Noticed it when my friends kids of 5 and 7 come home with books from kindergarten with supposed feminist propaganda for children that ONLY feature supposed feminists that conform to the system rather than the opposite There were texts as "her parents were so angry that their child was a girl and not a boy, so they did not want her to go to school to learn, they didn't even want her to work!" So effin disgusted it makes me so angry every time with the context that you have the stateist robots that think that the propaganda is only in the non western places... I'm not even from North America but rather from a social democratic place, which btw is extremely neoliberal and capitalist as well as colonial

1:00:43 how is any of this even contentious? Of course homo sapiens and our language has been a gradual progress like all language As long as our skeletal shapes have existed to support our upper body parts that produce sound then language must have existed From what I know evidence shows this to be like 100-200k years But again at any point it should've been somewhat gradual I'd argue we may have even have brains to think more complexely than the sounds we could produce Even though the lack of sounds would've limited us to maximize this ability You even see this with people today and ideas and lack of vocab Furthermore obviously orcas are aware of death And I also strongly believe orcas language to be way more advanced than we can imagine But also that if they'd have the tools to create more sounds, then they could develop the ability to think more complexly, similar to how I think we likely evolved I have plenty of examples but I'll go back to my previous one its the simplest to verify Look around at how the ability to be allowed to think more ideas and have more vocab affects certain people differently I don't have an objective study in front of me atm, but I strongly doubt it comes down to intelligence only

I find the people who say" both side did bad" is pure stupidity or just French people trying to cover their crimes, France was and still a state of terrørism and occupation they did horrible thing to the Algerians that no one can imagine, and it's the Algerian's right to defend themselves and fight back, and everything they do is justified. You can put us in the same position with the French if we occupied another land for 132 years and kil/led more than 9 million innocent people. What the French did was worse than what the N@zi did. And since the French didn't apologize and return everything they stole from us and compensate the victims of their nuclear test we won't let go of our rights and we will talk about it forever.

Wow, this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is divisive propaganda, truth and lies mixed together in a poorly researched op-ed, from a 'think tank' probably funded by a billionaires with the goal of dividing populations for personal power and control. Seems like the general theme is anti-colonialism. Just a reminder to unbias this a little. Whilst the change was obviously horrible for the Aboriginies of the time, if Europeans didn't colonise Tasmania it would likely be the 3rd world disaster that places like Papua New Guinea or Central Africa are today. Places where globalists install war and chaos to allow the cheap plunder of resources. But who wants an ultimately peaceful island with rule of law, the ability to largely defend itself, and a mass of opportunities for motivated people of any race who want to make it in society, well the police force is a little corrupt etc but.. should we go back to the extreme violence, misogony and huge infant mortality rates of hunter gatherer society Colonialism is better than Globalist tyranny, and what's the other alternative, think about it. A couple of points on the 'Facts' pointed out in this piece. Flinders Island is pretty much a paradise lol, on the mild side but certainly not cold. Have a look at a climate graph. The remaining population sent there was sterile, and although obviously a sad and awful situation for those Aboriginals, their quarters were fine and treatment generally considered ok FOR THE TIME PERIOD, not an as insinuated Nazi concentration camp. 65000 years of occupation isn't currently supported by genetics/land and animal change evidence etc, 40000 - 50000 years is more generally accepted in the anthropological community, (anthropologists are better at this than archaeologists). 65000 is a date from a find in the north of Australia dating sand grains found next to stone tools with a new technique and is considered an optimistic date. Why does this even matter?, well the truth maybe?, it's an interesting history. There is also evidence of prior human occupation to the Aboriginal population which of course gets buried under political agendas. Organised geurilla fighting is a bit of a stretch, unfortunately for them the resistance was isolated small scale ambushes which certainly wouldn't have helped their cause. They never had guns for example. Racism is also mostly dead in Tasmania apart from these podcast donkeys and their masters trying to revive it. All races need to stand up together against the elites who fund these 2. The same American billionaires who fund this stuff that flip Tasmanian Dairy farms for $10s of millions in profit, stealing from the locals.

Very good summary of a beautiful Victory of a liberation army against One of the most powerfull and modern army of that time ( likely the fourth most powerfull). Some figures to complete the video: during large scale military operations, the so -called "Challes operations" there was nearly Half million french troops on Algerian soil helped by some 150000 harkies and 100000 policemen in the bigest cities. All these troops could be equiped and armed thanks to american money including planes, sikorsky helicopters, napalm suply. Any one who wants further and deepest understanding about this war should read the rigourous book from an american author of Columbia University explaining the game played by the Americans in this cold War conflict.

In true socialist fashion, you spend 28 minutes talking about the problem and the literature that addresses it. And then in the space of 20 seconds, "I think we need to impose a solution by force in some way. We just need to cram it down, I don't think we have another choice." Great instincts, guys. I see where you're coming from. That just pops out at the end without a second thought, and you know something? I don't think you reasoned your way into that mindset, and I would hope that you can be challenged on it in a way that moves you away from that instinct. If that's not possible, there really is something wrong with you. It means your brain is broken. Don't worry, though. I can fix your brain. I'm pretty sure I'll need to impose it on you, though. In some way. I don't think I have another choice.

The "tsarist nobility" that assassinated Rasputin were led by pro-British imperialists, and the British Secret Intelligence Service. Their objective was to install the British puppet, Grand Duke Kirill. When that failed, the US sought to install their puppet, Kerensky. This imperialist puppetry is often overlooked by scholars. England and America were working behind the scenes to destroy the Romanov immediate family. The Tsar was much more in league with the peasants than is commonly understood. The Tsar exiled Lenin, when he could've had him shot. There is no evidence that Lenin had the royal family murdered.

"people are actually moved by pathos, emotion. We're not rational creatures" Here us where Liberals and republicans actually agree with fascists. This is one of the big points Hitler and Mussolini attack Marxism for, and the means by which they posit the race/nation as being the highest spiritual goal. "People are too stupid to think rationally about their material interest, therefore we must posit a Spiritual mythos over materialism."

What is odd to me is that ultimately this series undermines the very notion that America is some homogenous unity of shared purpose. You paint a picture of conflicting interests and social differences out of which a unity, the national collective, was forced on people by an elite of bourgeois revolutionaries. This means being "American" simply means having a passport issued by the same state, having the same government rule over you. What is called a "common history" is a work of the state, where it retroactively creates a narrative or story about what counts as "American history" that Americans are to take as second nature. In other words, this very notion of a national community of shared interests and purpose is a lie-- and this is true. Nonetheless this lie is put into practice, it exists. If this is the case, then this identification, constantly talking about "us" or "we" is odd. A statement like "we ought to be ashamed! What we did is disgusting!" presupposes an identification with a collective of shared purpose that is already called into question from the start. Shame is the flip-side of pride, and simply an alternative form of nationalism that wants to come to terms with the past as a means purifying the present. Why should I feel that I am responsible for things the sons of liberty or the founding fathers did -- either morally good or bad? Why should I think of things these men did hundreds of years ago as something I share in, as something that is a part of my identity that I share responsibility in? Talking about these facts in America’s long-ago as well as its more recent history, exactly the unity of the people which is ought to be substantiated is already presupposed. National history before the nation-state was formed is a backward projection: Once and only if the ‘we’ is defined, a group of people long or very long dead can be made into a collective. A collective bound by history to the current one. Anyway, for any occurrence, say, more than a hundred years ago there simply cannot be a physical ‘we’, since no one is left who actually took part. But even for anything more up-to-date, most endeavours and decisions are still taken with at least a considerable minority of people opposing the project; yet, they are still citizens. The other way around makes it fit: If the nation already exists with all its citizens, then there is a collective and a history that can be referred to as ‘ours’. If this history is given as a (or even the) reason for the nation, then that turns the real relation of nation and history upside down: without the nation there would simply be none of its history the history is the result of its formation. Again it is the state which fosters this quid pro quo by educating its junior and senior subjects about ‘their’ history in history classes, museums and on public TV channels.

Please let's stop the revisionist history. West Africans were Iron Age peoples. They had domesticated animals. The empires were predominantly Muslim and they had immunity to Old World diseases. Had Africans arrived in the Caribbean first the Natives would have had time to develop immunity, they would have had metal working skills, domesticated animals like cows goats and sheep and they'd have been Muslims.
