Hallo Géréon, das mit dem Ton wundert mich. Ich habe keinen speziellen Ton hinterlegt, nur den Ton der jeweiligen Aufnahme gelassen. Und beim Hochladen - nach mehrmaligen Kontrollieren und neu Rendern des Films - war der Ton noch da. Die Uhrwerklok ist eine alte Rangierbahn von Carette. Wir haben um die 20 Takes gebraucht, um die 2 Sequenzen aufzunehmen, in denen die Lok so läuft, wie sie soll... 🙃 Und die 112 ist Bing für Bassett-Lowke. Die einzige spiritusgefeuerte Tenderlok, die ich kenne, welche man auch Führerstand voraus vor den Zug hängen kann.

It is a loco from the late 1920s; its catalogue no. was 10-470-0. Actually this loco is a crude reproduction of the SR "King Arthur" Class - a loco with a respective litho was also offered by Bing. There are also versions in the colours of the other Big Four.

Take a close look at the boiler - the engine was far from complete when I took the video. The engine belongs to a friend of mine, and he sent it to me to get it to operational condition and make a few optical improvements - what I did is far from restoration level. It took me some time searching, but I found a new Doll safety valve, a Doll filler cap screw, a fitting water level gauge and a manometer which is not from Doll but fits. All parts were bought on eBay. Doll co-operated with Bing when building steam engines, and in 1938 Doll was taken over from Fleischmann - Fleischmann's steam engines were either Doll design or further developped from the Doll designs. And Fleischmann continued producing steam engines until the Sixties. So some parts from Doll, Bing and Fleischmann are interchangeable.

Basically yes - as long as you don' use finescale track. The old tinplate trains have very high wheel flanges.

The steam exhaust is no problem at all - even if your track isn't stainless like our vintage tinplate track. At the end of the meeting we wipe the track dry and clean with an old cloth and that's it. Also heat is no problem - meanwhile I have run several 2m gas-fired locomotives on LGB track with plastic sleepers. Hardly any heat is reflected downward from the locomotives. But I wouldn't know of any live steam locos in Standard Gauge...
