Yes you have to have one of those because it has the GPS in it. Then you will have to have it sent out to be programmed to your VIN. The videos are old now The videos are old now I can't remember everything but you have to buy a receiver that you can put up under the dashboard and you don't have to run a OEM one in through the car

I believe in the video I showed where I made the harness wire schematics can be found anywhere on the web also you can pay a month of all data and have all information available. Also told somebody else basically bought the heads up display and the three buttons off eBay bought the both bezels from the dealership basically used a VIN number from a two SS gave him the last eight and order your part. As far as the connections on the harness I basically went to LKQ most of those plugs are used in different cars for different things believe I found my plug in a Cadillac and just added some wire so I don't have to mess with harnesses or connection ends. Yes there's a thing that you have to email them with instructions you have to send them a cluster they'll tell you how to package it what numbers to put on there they'll need your VIN number you'll get it back in 2 to 3 weeks That's when I did it Don't know what to turn around time is now

I would say Google wire diagram but if it was me go to your local auto parts store find one of the Clinton books go to that page on the back of the book and snap a couple of pictures with your cell phone. The connector you might find online / local dealership or your local LKQ and pay $3 to get in cut it off if you find one. Sorry that probably wasn't much of help but hope you get it figured out

@@frankntina3593 You might want to look into the Tesla style they were calling them like the new Rams have the big 12-in screen thinking about buying one of those. Watched a couple of videos my only downfall is it shows a picture of the truck you can't change the color of the truck it's white. In my opinion any Android radio is good in my opinion I just tether my phone and the radio will do everything your phone does

Can find home link on eBay I would go to the dealership or the upper glove box. Go online find a truck for sale that has it use the VIN number look up the part number and make sure your interior color matches four screws

The ambient temperature sensor (switch) is located either behind the front grille or in the front bumper. Just took that off the first search on Google. Google year make model what you looking for location on Google go to videos and pictures should find it. KZfaq doesn't let me post links can't put pictures... This is my personal truck I don't do this for a living. But yes you have to run wires from the bottom of the seat to your body connection where your feet go on the bottom right under the dashboard. Too much work I just put in an aftermarket. Sorry I know that's not much of help

Looked online for trucks for sale with the same color trim. Looked at upgraded model with the second glove box took the VIN number from that truck. Ordered glove box using that VIN number

I don't have that much knowledge about the trucks it's my personal vehicle. Typically a door harness is preset to its options. The plug and play part would be from door to the frame of the body. You would have to do your homework but I would think you can go to the junkyard pull a wire harness and you'd have to get the door panel switches anyway. I don't know if I'm helpful on that one but I think it is plausible

I believe most of the fact we wires run up the passenger side. If I remember there's like a 12-pin connector tan plastic on the back left side. Otherwise if you feel like taking a couple of panels off and looking for it. Otherwise not too far from the connection on the seat itself.
