This was an amazing insight into the resilient nature of the spirit of Lebanon. And im here by chance. Always intrigued by the cultures of the world and seeing a vibe of victory over conflict and potential devastation is truly inspiring. and still very timely and up to date.

Thanks sir for showing the bright side of the country and the resilience of the people despite everything going on. We know very well that there is a severe shortage of basic services (Modern transportation, electircity, WIFI; traffic lights etc), but the general situation now does not allow for anything better. We hope that the situation will improve in the future. Thanks and welcome to Lebanon 💚🙏

Yes guys enjoy it In Lebanon . Your lack of awareness might let you see and imagine amazing things in Lebanon. This is common everytime someone visit a new country he sees the cleanliness. And delusive beauty. But if you have ancestors on this country they might send you many curses and you cannot grow from the dirt and trauma or dysfunction.. beware of those smiling to you they dont know themselves and theyre secretive and can cause damage. They are what they eat . Or else is Politics=stupidity

Yet we are still standing with them and helping Go cry somewhere else...

How lovely! Are you Lebanese? I'm from California, living in Egypt, and I'm planning to come to Beirut next week inshallah to check out the American University of Beirut. I'm not sure if I should go right now - who knows what the next weeks will bring - but I imagine it's only going to get worse for the next several months, unfortunately. What do you think? News and threats aside, how is it feeling in Beirut right now?

You missed vital information The economic downturn was due to shit high ranking figures stealing billions and billions of dollars out of the lebanses banks into foreign banks, leaving nothing for the country. Hence why some lost they're entire savings and everyone was limited to cashing out simply because the banks did not jave the money to hand out

Last week, like many other Lebanese who had decided to spend summer in Lebanon, we were faced with an ugly situation. Do we leave? we have children, is it wiser to leave? what if we get stuck there? What if there is a war? will my children get traumatised and not want to go back to Lebanon? But what if nothing happens? What if it is more talk than anything? My family… I haven’t gotten enough of them, my home, my Lebanon, we are meant to be there for another 3 weeks, ? My grandma… After a lot of back and forth, we decided to leave with a very heavy heart. I cried for 48 hours straight; I cried for all the pain that we as Lebanese have had to endure since I can remember. I cried for the injustice of it all. I cried for my family, I cried for the ones in Lebanon who have had to deal with so much trauma, I cried hoping that I will be able to return soon, I cried thinking of all the children of war. With everything that the world has been able to cancel, how are wars still a thing in 2024?? While I am so grateful to have a roof above my head and to live in safety (a basic human right), I, like every other Lebanese across the world, feel a strong sense of longing, I like every other Lebanese hold on to the beautiful memories, to the hope of a brighter future, to the moment I will step foot back in our beautiful country. Being a child of the Middle East is knowing all too well what this feels like 💔

I am sick of foreigners think Lebanon is just a poor country in the middle of a desert with terrorism attacks, bombing and bad economy. But if they could see the real true beauty of Lebanon with our beautiful cultures, people, places and most of the lifestyle because us Lebanese don't worry a lot but instead we live life. I love my country of Lebanon and Inshallah it will come back to its former glory.

Lebanon started deteriorating after Muslims there took over. Same as Israel, it deteriorated after Jews there took over. There is only peace through Christ/Christians.
