This is a very informative video with excellent information. The only thing it left me curious about was in the footage of the units being used I would like to know the approximate distances shown in each clip and ambient temperature. I know it's all relative but I just want to have realistic expectations.

I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the kzfaq.infoUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well.With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings.For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance.For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

Man, you should have a tad of regard to your not-mothertongue followers. We can take the accent - somehow - but your rate of words per second is pretty high. Never mind subtitles, they're speeding away as you strafe with no mercy. No offence, but I'd say that you might collect more followers if only you could slow down a bit.

@@MrBHuntingDownUnder Hey thanks for the reply, I should specify a few things: is there any lag in the video that would be hampering, how do the optics perform in close ranges such as looking at the ground for obstacles while walking. Would the optics focus and show detail that close, or give motion sickness?
@MrBHuntingDownUnder
@MrBHuntingDownUnder Жыл бұрын
@jpod73 there’s no lag at all, manual focus, but think of it more like binoculars, you scan and move on, you don’t walk with it as such, you’d need a different 1:1 helmet mount thermal or similar for that.

Damn this guy is good! Great video. I agree with your early on statement that having a thermal spotter to detect, then switch over to your rifle that has a night vision scope. I have this configuration now, as in the past, I sold my night vision scope and bought a thermal. I thought it was a huge mistake, as night vision is superior at identification I found. I then sold my thermal, re-purchased a night vision and bought a thermal spotter for detection only.

Hey Werner, I am currently waiting for the Axion 2 LRF to come into stock so I haven't laid eyes on it yet, but the Helion will be better picture, but it also doesn't have a range finder, so you probably need to decide if you want a range finder, if so, then Axion, if not then how nice a picture do you want, and how much are you willing to spend? Both will do the job so this will be personal preference and a budget decision. Both are 2.5x base mag, axion is more compact if that matters to you.
