Well if im not mistaken whats so significant about 50s commercials. They broadcasted in the years when televisions stated to become, every common house hold products and available to the broader public. RCA Air conditioners are still around today, i looked it up and was surprised to see them for sale, of course it’s not the exact model, that got discontinued a long, long time ago, but the company is still around and making HVAC machines, which i find pretty neat.
