Such a fast, helpful video! Your description, pace, and the visuals made it so easy to follow and my French knot looked just right first try! Thank you.

As someone who has picked up crocheting knitting, and cross stitching very easily, I was like oh, embroidery should be easy.... boy was I wrong lol! Idk why embroidery is getting the best of me, I just can't seem to pick it up as easily I thought I would. I tried the french knot before, got annoyed and gave up so I'm back to give it another try. You make it look so easy that it makes me excited to give it another try! Thanks for the video!

I just learned that people do Stem Stitches differently... and they look different. As a newbie this is disheartening. *headdesk*

Best French knot video I have found on KZfaq. I have tried so many times to understand other tutorials and failed - I understood yours first time around and was able to effectively and easily make my first French knot. Thank you.

H,ow many strands are you using please ? Going back into the same hole doesn’t work for me. I have started my first try at embroidery today at 60+ I thought it’s time I tackle it. I have always wanted to try but was given some negative advice many years ago and I worried I would ruin the whole thing. I tried with using 3 strands as the pattern says but I’m just getting a blip rather than a knot. Thank you in advance.

How do you keep it straight for a straight cut? I see my hand wobbling trying to hold it steady 🤔

it has a pretty big base that sits under the fabric and has wheels. It "wants" to go straight if that makes sense.
