That music is hopelessly beautiful.

This show is based on pure rating. They destroyed some of the protagonists to make people wanna see their revenge. They suprised and shocked watchers with extreme scenes, put eroticism and created heroes from all genders and ages. They also created mini stories and touching scenes. They did not care about the quality or ending.

Hardhome was peak Game of thrones. You finally see what the whitewalkers are really capable of. You finally see the scale of the problem, you see why the wildlings are uniting and trying not to fight - to flee south as fast as they can. The 10 last minutes of this episode were more akin to a horror movie than anything else. Nothing could be done but flee. The whitewalkers were shown as unbeatable, smart, patient, powerful. Then you see the night king respawn everyone that just died fighting them. They are not just smart, patient and powerful. Nothing but dragons can kill such an army, everything else is pointless. If only the show could have made an entire last season of everyone in westeros uniting to fight them, and still loosing over and over again. Until some hard won victory. The whitewalkers deserved a better ending than this.

Não arrependo, gostei de tudo, só não concordo com o último episódio e a morte da Daenerys infelizmente! Jon's fight with the White Walker and the WW's face when Jon's sword didn't shatter, it was setting up for such an epic and masterpiece of a final battle between Jon and the Night King...and then the writers decided to subvert our expectations with Season 8.

The hype of white walker from Ep1 S1 was epic. The ending of the white walkers were disappointing guys.I thought there might be huse chaos but it ended very early.

All do fairness this just doesn't work. Chaotic, scream filled, was the original; with its the heavy strings around the massacre. The Night King "soundtrack" is too slow for the disaster that was the Hardhome part of the episode (sic) 'HARDHOME'

Television series like this will never happen again in my era at least. Everything else this new-era is total trash. Maybe in the next life.

Something I noticed here, they're killing the Whites with regular arrows, but it's laid out that only fire, Dragon Glass and Valerion Steel can kill the Whites and the White Walkers.
