Its waaaay cheaper. The alien is anywhere from 5k to 8k depending on which one you buy. The Type B is 800 to 970. The Type B is also way more reliable than the alien.

Wow! I just ordered a Ronin (similar gun, and my 1st 1911) and have been searching videos on how to take down and clean, as I'm not familiar with the 1911 platform. Tip for zeroing Aim. Try to mount pistol to a sturdy base if your can. Fire at target Reposition so the optic is aimed at the exact same spot as previous Now, without moving gun or optic. Adjust your 0 till your dot is over the impact of the round you fired Hard with handguns. Easy with rifles

No, that’s not normal. Without see it in person, my guess is the recoil spring may not be installed correctly.

It’s not really a comp because it’s not connected to the barrel. It’s just a ported slide. It doesn’t do nearly as much as a true compensator.

Yup, it’s estimated you get about 20 to 25 percent less muzzle with this type of compensator.

Good video. One thing I learned from using my gas pedal was that it’s all about your grip and not squeezing the hell out of it. It really works and recoil is significantly reduced. I actually didn’t move at all at the end of my learning curve.
