hello Vhyrro thank you so much for your guide, it helped me go from an absolute noob to have a base understanding of how to setup neovim, i have a question tho, when setting the LSP you told us to put the LSPServerName.setup({}) in lspconfig file, i wanna ask where do we get LSPServerName ? there are so many servers, do we use the name displayed in mason LSP installation panel ? motive for this question: i'm using nvchad neovim, and they have an HTML lsp preinstalled, and i got confused because i don't have no html lsp installed on mason

Having found the time to transition my mature gVim configuration to Neovide, I'm used to seeing those Lua errors from time to time and just now thought : wouldn't it be nice if there was syntax highlighting for the error messages.

Auto indenting with == only seems to be working in lua. But when I try it on a python file, it doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions?

Such a gifted teacher! You teach the way how to learn, guide the way how to dive deeply, rather than just telling knowledges. Love the way you teach. Please make more videos.

Great Video! Question: What use case would you need for vim.bo/wo etc? I am not sure exactly when you'd even need this? is it even practical?

I had to add "vim.opt.shiftwidth = 4" along with "vim.opt.expandtab = true" and "vim.opt.tabstop = 4" to get the 4 spaces for tabs to work. ""vim.opt.shiftwidth = 0" also worked.

Thank you for creating a resource like this. These videos are really helping me to understand some of the things that have happen under the hood with editors like RStudio and VS Code. I'm totally dying to understand how to set up completions (ncm2?) and format-on-save (this seems to have a much more complex ecosystem!). Hope to see something on these soon!

That'll teach me to comment before watching to the very end. Look forward to the completions video with nvim-cmp ;)
