Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone would be shocked, so would Saffy. Seriously, I have been to London many times and shocked and saddened to what has happened to our beloved London. Thanks for a great video, Greg Adams, Springfield, Louisiana, USA.

That´s a good video. Duncan is a smart dude and in this age of internet and digital communications there is no reason why Blackpool and similar towns should be left behind. Things will change.

Hi David. Cool video. I don't think you could beat the price for the space you get in Blackpool. However, Morecambe also has some great Victorian buildings too that used to be hotels back in the day. I doubt they can beat Blackpool prices though. Always a joy to watch your video's man!

The more and more I watch this the more I realise it is turning into Sheffield these days Sheffield is now a big university campus catering to students and I fear this is what Nottingham will be like soon.

5:00 from my own experience I see this is only because of the very bad or very old school non-existing hydro insulation what it means under the floor under the beams and right there near the concrete you put like at least 200 micron film I personally did two times that and then you know what it fixed f****** hell it fixed for real all my parents said is impossible but I prove it them wrong everything went away The smell went away in the air became even dry The walls became dry this is all because of the moist which is trying to escape and it's crumbling the walls also power lines inside a walls everything you can imagine tiles even falling off Yes that's normal because on the old times there was no such access of the material everything what they used to do it meant to be maybe for 30 years no longer now we can do it like it would would last like 60 years if not 100

It will be an unpopular take, but this should and will happen as most of retail business gets acquainted with e-commerce: there's no longer a need for a physical showcase for your products to make profits in retail, people are fine with shopping online and ordering deliveries to their front door. The highstreet commercial estate has to find new purpose, at this point converting to residential spaces or co-working places or workshops isn't a bad thing.

I would like to see a Blackpool of two halves. The cheap and cheerful tacky funfair end, a crossover mixed area as you walk into a more elegant sedate cafe culture style Blackpool at the other end. That way it has something to attract everyone.

Ok. I’m going to be deliberately provocative just to stir the pot, but ten pints of beer, a £1 burger and being shat on by a seagull isn’t really my idea of a fun day out. Seriously, what is there to do in Blackpool, or is it just a big beach and some faded glory? Well done to Duncan though for his vision and subsequent investment. I do wonder though how much of the year he spends in Spain. Surely there’s only so much rain, cheap beer and seagull sh*t a man can take. Forgive my cynicism; I’m suffering from 14 years of Toryitus.
