How this film didn't win an academy award for best score is bewildering to me.

"It was a good death". People that aren't hunters will never understand that line. In my retirement I'll be living in my home in Alaska. I dream of facing death on my trapline. Nobody will know my end like I will.

I saw this film when I was young and drew very little from it. As I get older I draw soooo much more from it as now I identify with Col Ludlow in the film. I have 3 sons now, one in prison, one in the army and one that won't talk to me.

"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were, and sometimes, you didn't want to know the end! Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come! And when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer! Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand! I know now! Folk in those stories had lots of chances in turning back only they didn't. They kept going, because they were holding onto something! "What are we holding onto, Sam?" "That there's some good left in this world. And it's worth fighting for." --Sam's speech, the Two Towers, movie adaptation Yes, I memorised it.

Poor people of Ukraine, having a mad man like Zelenski running his whole population to an early grave. So sad. And all the nazis in Ukraine. Tragic.

Translation : Almighty freedom All freedom of the soul feel free Come with me Through fields of gold So wonderful Wonderfully We regret our sins, but... we patch our own fate and I secretly remember my weaknesses secretly, he laughs Aaaahh Even if I'm scared alone I will secretly wait Run with me, Roman soldier run and play with the horses (carries) Run with me, Roman soldier run and play with the horses (carry) Run with me, Roman soldier run and play with the horses (carry) Run with me, Roman soldier run and play with the horses (carry) Almighty freedom All freedom of the soul feel free feel free imagine freedom with peace Lovely Wonderful, this land No one can believe or understand How much I have gone through for my beloved family He should be there with them where the world ends but now they rest with me I'll never forget How I felt at that moment I became free!

If you're reading this message, I want you to know that you're not alone. The universe wants you to know that better days are coming, and you have the power to make them happen. Believe in yourself, be kind to yourself, forgive yourself, and keep moving forward. Stay positive, and go with the flow. You've got this!~ CK
