My mower turns good then after time it like gets to hot and will stop. Let it sit and it works again. What is the issue and the fix?

I have the exact same problem with my z225 eztrak, it gets hot then the right side begins to stick

Thanks for the video. I just rebuilt a similar nikki carb and the intake flange where it bolts onto the carburetor is so warped that I see daylight in the middle between the faces when it's snugged up. So now I have to decide if i am going to just replace the manifold or try to use permatex. UPDATE: I used permatex gasket maker in addition to the gaskets and no more daylight. its running good.

I just installed a primary clutch kit on my 2023 Uforce 1000 today. It helped some with the jerky starts but not as much as I was expecting from what I have been watching in the videos and reading comments. I was expecting it to be as smooth as butter like the talk was. Not a total disappointment, it is a little better.

You can't see clearly in the video, but the spring gets hung up on the main gear. The only way i know to get it out, is to rotate the small gear on the starter motor shaft until its as far away from the spring as possible. After that, rotate the starter shaft to "screw" the spring past the gear. It helps to pull the starter housing off the rotor to give more room for tilting the rotor shaft. Hope that helps. The 2 bolts are the easy part.

I have a 1949 ford 9-n , I split the case, turned the Ring gear over, installed new clutch throw out bearing, pressure plate , put everything back together now tractor will not turn over, any ideas?

I've found that chemical rust removing can be a slow, slow, process. It's actually working but isnt magic. Use aggressive acids like muriatic and phosphoric acid, and yeah things can take off like a hopped hemi off the line.

I probably won’t watch this one again, but it seems like a good test of that brand of muriatic acid on heavier steel parts. I’ll have to look for the toilet bowl cleaner one.

Watched your vid you did a year ago on oil mix pump on cycle engine. Replacing with a block plate. Isn't the throttle attached to that pump. If so, where do you attach it after pump is removed. I don't have it out yet but looks like it's on the oil mix pump. Can you advise me.

Seems to me that that is not d2 steel and may possibly be m2 steel . D2 steel would not be that soft after a heat quench like you have shown but my opinion and I'm not a expert on anything lol

Hey where you able to fix the problem? I had the same thing happen to me the other day and after inspecting I think I may have found the problem not sure yet though. I believe it was because my drive tensioner spring it had fell of some how so I Im going to order one hopefully that fixes it.

Im pretty sure you are not an engineer. You took off a purpose designed part and ran it through a saw! This specific part was designed to create a "venturi effect" for airflow, it doesn't decrease airflow, in fact, it does the opposite. This mod does nothing in term of gains. 😂

I did this mod on my 89 F250. I am a Machinist and Engineer and a shade tree mechanic. I was getting about 9.9 MPG and afterward got about 10.65 MPG. The most noticeable difference was in the throttle. I drive 20 miles to work. I have been driving a manual for 50 years. I noticed that I had to keep letting off the throttle to keep my speed the same as before. So I trust the seat of my pants. The throttle is more responsive and I get better mileage and that is the only thing I have done to this rig. I notice that I am getting noise through my CB radio that tells me I have a bad plug wire. New wires and plugs are next. I have 2001 F250 Triton v10 that I despise and a1986 F250 diesel that I might make my daily driver. I now know what FORD stands for: The 2001 Triton = Found On Road Dead. The 86 diesel = Fix Or Repair Daily and the 89 460 = First On Race Day!

Should have left the other rim half (with it still bolted 🔩 together) in place, before turning the tire over, to attempt to break the bead on that 😳 side. Thats with your Harbor Freight ATV tire bead breaker. Just subbed!! Your friend, Jeff!!
