Great video! What is the main purpose for adding the glycerin and does it affect the paint application or appearance when dry?

Hiya, I add glycerin to watercolor/gouache paints to prevent it from cracking and becoming brittle. It also helps the gum arabic to dissolve more quickly in water. Hope this helps!
