for me i use gesture drawing to capture these pose in short time.

Yeah, I tried gesture drawing but it's not for me, I don't possess this fluid like motion that's helpful for gesture. Maybe I should try it again

Still playing around with my settings, seems like I used a wrong recording resolution 😅
@Owle_Ай бұрын
I reset my PC a few days ago and forgot to save all my settings for OBS, Clip Studio Paint and DaVinvi Resolve.. so if you notice any changes with quality that may be the reason.. I try and get everything back to its original state.. stupid mistake on my end haha Drawing feels weird now I'm not sure what settings I changed🥲 Minor setback but that's ok😅

How do u draw the poses so fast I draw so slow because I’m focusing on one thing lol
@Owle_Ай бұрын
That comes with practice, in the beginning I was slow too (and still am imo), couldn't finish one figure but after a while my speed just naturally increased. So you don't have to worry if you don't finish a pose after a while you get the hang of it.

I was listening to metal while drawing and I think it shows in today's practice, everything is a bit messy. More messy than I would like haha. What Music do you listen to while drawing/working?
@sopa493Ай бұрын
I listen to several different styles, the main one is rock. One minute it's metal, then it's classical music, then national music (I'm from Brazil) pop, instrumental, music from 200 years ago. In short: I listen to almost every type of music LOL. One question, which app/site are you using? it's paid?
@Owle_Ай бұрын
Haha a fellow "I listen to every type of music". Great taste. I find it funny/interesting how different kinds of music affect how you're drawing/work. For drawing I use Clip Studio Paint which is a paid app. For the Poses I use a website called Posemaniac a free site with a lot of great reference poses.(some are kinda weird looking/buggy tho)

East or West owel is best....❤️ Can you recommend me any course for body poses.
@Owle_2 ай бұрын
Sites I can recommend are: Posemaniacs; the easy to use 3D models help you visualise how the muscles lie/are connected under the skin but I need to add to that, that sometimes the models can be a bit buggy If you want to study with the real human body Quickposes and Line of Action have really nice references. Both of these also give the option for clothed poses. Also Artstation as a very nice catalogue of reference poses, both free and paid packs I'll add links below: www.posemaniacs.com/tools/thirtyseconds quickposes.com/en/gestures/random line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing?category2=all www.artstation.com/marketplace/game-dev/resources/photography/reference

Hey owle I was wondering would you have any advice for a beginner on how to get to this level you’re at? I like your anatomy especially how you construct it and draw it.
@Owle_3 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you! I also consider myself as a beginner. I was thinking for quite some time about what to say and what advice I could give, but the only thing I realized is that I'm very bad at it, haha, but I'll try my best anyway. The best adivce I can think of is, to remember to have fun while drawing! When I'm practicing and see a Pose I really like; I try to imagine it how it would look like while it's in motion, what environment it might be in, or what character would behave like that. Consistency is also important. I feel like you don't have to draw everyday, but a few times a week will help your body build muscle memory. When I first started to draw, my lines were super messy and rough but over time they evolved to what they are today; still a bit messy and rough but way better than before, haha. So it may take a while for you to notice the improvement, but it will keep getting better. In my construction I usually start with the head and (if visible) try to follow the shape of the spine or sternum to give myself some sort of guidence so I can build the body around it. But if I'm honest most of the time I just wing it, so I can't really tell you how I do my constrution, I don't know what I'm doing myself, haha. Studying anatomy is probably also a good way to improve, although that doesn't mean you have to know every name of every muscle, just the general shape is more than enough; at least at the beginning I think. Now I feel like I did a whole lot of yapping without saying much.. Let me know if there was something helpful in there or not, I probably need to work on my ability to give decent advice, haha. But yeah, the best adivce I can think of is to have fun and to take your time!

@@Owle_ I love your response lol. But thank you for answering my question 🙏🏼
@Owle_3 ай бұрын
Yeah of course! I would like to add one more thing, which I struggle a lot with and have to keep remind myself of is, that not everything has to be perfect. This is something what almost everyone says, but it's just true.
@fenriru4933 ай бұрын
@@Owle_ yeah I struggle a lot with that honestly😭 I’m slowly trying to accept the failures and mistakes so I can start enjoying doing art which will make me wanna draw more instead of rage quitting and getting into a loop of “trying to draw something”, get mad at the mistakes, stop drawing and repeat. Lol
@Owle_3 ай бұрын
Haha, yeah exactly that happens to me all the time. What I do to learn to be more forgiving with myself are these pose practices. Because of the limited I have to draw them I'm bound to make mistakes, so they're allowed to not always look as good as I would like them to. We just need to keep at it. 💪
