How is the 2900t compare to sg 75?

After putting quite a bit of hours on the 2900t it is much more of a productive machine. I love my sg-75 but the 2900t is just no comparison. It eats

You should probably clear out the stone out of the working area you don't wanna send stone flying at anyone

Hey Daylen - did bandit correct some of the issues that you described in your 500 hour review of your older SG75?
@daylenlathers9866
@daylenlathers9866 8 ай бұрын
Yes, bandits new model sg has corrected almost all issues. Electric clutch, different latches and swing doors for engine. Mounts for plow blades, single peice motor mount plates for both sides. There are still a couple of things that could still be improved. But very happy with how they have handled it so quickly.

That’s great to know, and I appreciate you getting back to me! I demoed an SG75 in summer 2021 and it was a beast. I wanted to buy it, but I thought I’d wait until they got the kinks worked out first. I got a glimpse of your compact tractor in your 500 hour review bid. Do you pull your rig with a dump truck, and load the grinding chips in that?

Yes I use the f550 and tow a 20 ft trailer with a 2032r and the sg. Works well and minimizes trips. Those sgs are great and now with the improvements I'll likely get another one next year or year after.

That’s a solid rig man! I have an SG40 which is great overall for a small machine, but the SG75 is so productive on bigger jobs and larger stumps. Are you on Facebook btw?

Is there any way I could have access to free sawdust? Like is there a company I could go to that regularly makes too much sawdust to handle and would be relieved if I could take it off their hands?

If you know anyone that does wood working or maybe a lumber shop or something what do you need it for anyway?

@@chunkymonkey4487 if you mix it with 10% waste motor oil and 90% waste cooking oil, it will burn for hours in a wood stove

Except you would need to take down the fence to get thru, rip out the fence posts near the stumps so there not damaged and it would cost about 3 times as much and need back fill for all the holes and cost to haul out stumps... exactly why they ground them 🤟

Nice.Would cutting it closer to the ground with chainsaw before grinding save time/ money ?

Depends on the stump... small ones it doesn't much matter. Large ones it can save a little time but the problem is the big chunk of wood or stub.. Noone wants it generally and most people who take the mulch at my dump spots don't want the chunk of wood either.

I've noticed also alot of times the closer you try to get to the ground with the saw you have alot more chance of finding dirt and ruining the chain turns into a nightmare

Very nicely done I bought my machine January 2021 so I'm guessing it's a 2020 my machine doesn't have those slide pads my machine also doesn't have shear pins I have 400 hrs I also have a 2018 bandit 2550 but back to the sg75 I chech my machine over on Sundays and power wash it I haven't noticed any broken welds or cracks but the 1 issue I have and it happened at 25 hrs that the right track came off and it's a pain to put it on if you have alot if chips but my the track was coming loose quite often so dealer replaced the tensioner. But the track still comes loose at least twice a week I have to put blade and cutter wheel down to tighten it also on the chip blade the earlier model had a flimsy blade mine bent first week took it to dealer and they replaced it with the new thicker blade no problems with it.im very happy with this machine. I want to thank you for making this video you did bring to my attention is that you mentioned on cutter wheel ever other metal strip you replaced im going to check mine first thing tomorrow thanks again for making video

Nice job o bought my sg75 16 months ago I've had problems with my tracks going in and out I've got it to atca job they wouldn't extend all the way back out and wheel wouldn't work I know sensors tell it there not extended and heard other people have problems getting into backyard then time to leave couldn't get back out about 6 months after owning machine tracks won't suck in told older models piston not strong enough just recently my remote is acting up the left knob that controls wheel and left track the boot that protects it has a tiny rip and dirt got in there and now im waiting for bandit to get back to me I also own a 2018 bandit 2550
