Ooh you got the variant without the hat on head

It is the same figure from the movie venom from two or three years ago I think .. I got him .and I can tell you I really like it a lot that I actually bought up ten of them because of the good articulations and it's a big figure in your hands compared to the other figure I was like wow I must get another one to save. I don't think it's necessary to get him if you got the movie venom because it's the same one as the movie figure but if you are a huge fan and because of the extra accessories it brings now . Why not but who am I kidding 😂 I' think I'm going to get him and if the price is right I will probably buy a bunch of them again. even if I'm not that much of a venom fan I just like how the figure feels playing with it in my hands and imagination pitting him against the Spidey figures I got . The articulations are very good with this figure for a Hasbro figure it was very surprising to me that this movie figure is more superior to the comic version of venom they just need to paint him like in the comics and replace it's toes to the comic version ones can you imagine? . I kind of like him though 😅 he can still kick and punch as for the boot swivel well people don't Walk with their toes backwards any ways but yup that torso is a problem with this figure . The skin showing under the under arms just imagine it rips while hes punching a klansman 😅😅. In the comics Luke kind of gets his shirt ripped in his classic comics so im not to disappointed . hopefully and i surely wish we get a better power man with torso articulations. In the future Nice review im looking at this old review because im missing a classic luke cage in my collection 😁👍🏻

@GeekHangOver I have the Marvel Legends Omega Sentinel, Charles Xavier, and Marvel Girl from the Tri-Sentinel wave in my collection But I'll be looking for the Marvel Legends House of X Wolverine, Magneto, Cyclops, and Moira MacTaggert from Collector's Edge or Quentin's Comics and Toys in Saskatoon that I'll be completing the Build a Figure

Ironically, he would be good for a custom of og Milestone Static.

Dang, that figure looks awesome ^^. Wanna know something funny when I look at this design?, it just reminds me of a random Horde Trooper from Masters of the universe, except this one could mean a real deal compared to the rest of the troops.

Deja vu all over again. This is really just another lazy-ass effort on Hasbro's part to have product out before the movie is released. Sadly with the ML budget obviously going to MCU figures over comic-based ones, Hasbro decided NOT to spend anymore money on this then they had to. The symbiote tendrils aren't even bending, they are stuck in that position until they fall. Easy pass for me Geek, but I loved your video.

When you get to review a Toybiz figure from your collection, I know you have a way bigger collection than I thought. This Cyke is fugly beyond imagination - but yet again I am also spoiled with the newer buck technology to make that judgement. You summed it best - it's a kids toy.

Thanks for your silly opinions on this one Geek. I'd sure hate to be Ketch riding that bike down the highway. Some of those bugs will knock a guy unconscious. It appears that ML is putting some effort into their 85th Anniversary line. The effects on this bike are really good, however some paint is desperately needed on that bike. Thanks for your efforts.

Janky is an excellent word to describe this product. The interior design of the cape is the only redeeming quality to this guy I can think of. Canada doesn't have Walgreen's and it was almost impossible to find many exclusives in the Great White North when it first came out. As I needed him for an "Annihilation diorama" I spent way too much money getting a rather underwhelming ML. Quasar is a perfect example of a phoned-in job from ML that is in desperate need of an upgrade to the Vulcan buck. Thanks for the review Geek, keep the Far-Out Fridays coming.

I agree the head sculpt is a little off I prefer the TRU head sculpt love the Phoenix and flames effect the most. If they combined the Phoenix and flame effect with the TRU dark phoenix that would be so great

I remember when retro Dr Doom was released..i had recently picked up the the Super Skrull wave Dr Doom..& i didn't see the point of picking up pretty much the EXACT same figure.. but even tho i have The Cabal 3 Pack Doom..i kinda wish i had picked up this one as well.. the brighter colors just POP on the shelf..& i wouldn't mind having those accessories.. especially that Ultimate Nullifier..my Walgreens Mr Fantastic i bought on the aftermarket did NOT come with it..

Another re-paint of another Hasbro ML product. These reviews must be so easy for you to pull off. "Nothing new to see here people, move it along". With the deluxe movie Carnage out, I don't know why a collector would choose this variant over that one. CMDstore is one of my go-to's in Canada along with Toysnowman. Both have a great catalogue of products with prices that are affordable. Thanks for the review Geek.

Thanks for your review on this one Geek. Despite the issues with the base and getting the Force to stand in it - ML did a pretty decent job with Jean. It is good to see that it wasn't a straight re-paint of the Dark Phoenix. I find the current state of ML unimpressive lately - the Phoenix Force should NOT be the same price as the figure. Although, this would really provide a WOW (X-)factor on a display shelf, I wonder how just the base would look with the Torch or Sunfire.

Lucky enough to have picked up this set for $50! I got into the MU line back into the day but was petty selective and left a lot of stuff behind that I know regret. The latest 3.75 marvel stuff is just so bad even compared to what we got in the first wave of the MU line.

Excellent throwback review Geek. Dr. Doom has to categorized as an A-Lister Marvel character. This fact makes it reasonable to believe ML should produce something worth collecting. The green tunic is a decent shade. Especially when you did the comparisons. All four ML Doom's have a charm to them. Any collector looking for a Dr. Doom would not be disappointed with either.

I think I would have been more likely to scoop this if I hadn't picked up the Mezco Doom. There's just no need for another 1/12 scale doom ever again.
