The T5s and maybe at least one T4 per race all need a type of anti-shield wpn. Maybe a laser that depletes shields quickly but does minimal dmg to everything else that toggles with it's AA perhaps, so using it leaves it vulnerable in some way. T5 should have an EMP usable like a skill cast manually, exploding out a EMP burst from the unit that brings down shields in a decent range around it....enemy and friendly units/buildings alike, but takes a decent time to recharge so it can't be spammed. Something along those lines would be awesome; every defensive strategy needs a counter and having an anti-shield based weapon as a strategic option would be really cool

@@ckimsey77 That could be a great idea! Tell the devs! I think the devs said they’re going to buff the T5 and make it either shoot faster or hit harder to bring shields down faster. They also say the shields are too strong right now, so some tuning is in coming! Thank you for watching and commenting!

Anti-shield weapons are very unlikely to ever be added in the game, since ALL units of Chosen have a shield and rely heavily on it. You can't add a weapon that counters the entire faction.

There will be upgrades, including weapons one, and there will be a possibility( most likely with t2 building) to entirely change a chassis of a commanded for a specialized role( being it either a much stronger combat form, or a support/assist one that would like to sit more in the base, etc).

@ZazeH Paying once for a t5 is enough to have pre-alpha and all upcoming updates forever until release. It is unknown for now if you will receive the full game on release, since there are some negative algorithm shenanigans with giving out free keys on steam, but devs are working on it. Alternatively, you can just wait until public demo that should be somewhat soon together with kickstarter

It what seem that that Universal Colossus was not Maugan Ra's Coup De Grace, Really great match to watch, it was alot of back and forth and then both of them destroying each other to the point that they're fighting with grasped straws and hail marys, it was a really great match!

it was so painful to watch Duncan lose this one, he had such an advantage throughout and yet all it took was for Vanady to get the fatboys first to be able to win the match, there's pretty much nothing you can do against them if you don't have experimentals yourself or a strong enough air force to take them down, if you play it defensively with not enough p-shields, you die a slow death and if you try and push out, your units are almost certainly dead. On a different note, i loved how Vanady used the dropships, it reminded me of one of the first casts that i was in, using dropships is really fun, what an amazing comeback from Vanady too, great cast!

@@robodoesedits8666 Thank you for watching and commenting! Fatboys can easily be beaten by small units if they’re fast enough and have enough health or shields to deal with their ranged damage. Unfortunately, Duncan wasn’t able to close the gaps or get enough fatboys. That happens. His research was probably going toward fatboys so he had a hard time. Thank you!

With the amount of research gens being built, he absolutely could've manufactured a beefed up fleet of planes to wreak havoc, any research that was spent on ultimately pointless things such as mass converters, the Nuke Silo or the TMLs could've been spent on training, shields and flares. The gunships that eventually got Wanderer would've not been able to do so, had he had a fleet of planes to take them down before they could amass in a large number Furthermore, planes would've absolutely shut down the attritional tactics that Polar was executing with the Salem and the Gemini in Wanderer's base I mean, he had an air factory and did pretty much nothing with it, so I don't know what he was trying to accomplish this game, The Shield + P-Gen Laser tactic was pretty smart though, as Aeon shields can absorb damage and turn it into energy

@@robodoesedits8666 Yeah, all that's possible. Air would have helped, but Salem AA is really good, especially en masse. That's probably the tactic that Polar would have used. Polar is seriously a pro. He knew how to deal with everything in the game. It was scary.

Yea the game was over in the first 60 seconds. There was a miscommunication and orange also went TML. Having 2 people doing TML on one team is a dumb idea.

@@Shad0wHawk86 it’s true! That’s because they s imbalanced! UEF subs usually beats Cybran boats. Aeon tanks can always attack when water is around giving them a huge advantage. Water maps aren’t usually played for that reason.

I'm curious if Polarbearz was going down? If Wanderer didn't go for the snipe with his ACU would he have won this? I know one of those Rippers were coming out but didn't that nuke give Wand. a massive upper hand?

Wanderer could have done many things differently to win this one. He could have gone mass MMLs to drop Polar’s shields and then over charged a lot of his stuff. He could have gone air and shoot down the gunships and have something to deal with the soulrippers. But, Wanderer could’ve see every like we could. It was an interesting and fun match!

@@StealSpeaks Agreed it was super interesting and the nuke in the middle of the game was so exciting. Great match. Hope to see more of Polarbearz. Would love to see him go against Iron Commander or Nuclear Pizza (get that free pizza)! I thought Polarbearz play style was so unique compared to what I've seen from from IC and NP who seem to rush with smaller units and don't dig in like Polarbearz did between the two hilltops. This video was really interesting because of the seemingly different play style.

@@wjlarsen Polarbearz had to dig in and do a unique build due to it being a 2v1! He had to be surprising! He totally nailed it! Sadly, Polarbearz quit a few years ago. That replay was from years ago.
