How in the world do you get your snares to hit that hard? Is it some kind of transient editor or are you like side chaining the snare to the cymbals or something?

I think it's just that it has a considerable amount of low end (different from many popular snare samples that don't have any) and it's compressed and clipped to hit as hard as possible without distorting, it sounds like it's sidechained to the cymbals because it's so loud in the mix and it pushes the BUSS compressor hard, even after the clipping ;_; ... I was not really looking for that effect, but I like it :) I remember listening to some of Indistinct's first records and thinking god that snare is too loud and too fat for that mix.... but I love it!

Dude keep putting out content. All your shit is amazing. Been listening to you for over a year and really enjoy all your stuff. I really like some of your slower chuggier stuff (not making a comparison to this track) but seriously man your really talented. Your music is amazing, cover work is equally as fire. Keep dropping shit as much as you want. I am on board for all of it. Kind of upsetting that it doesn't appear that you have a huge following and it fucks me up cause you should. Your that good. I got a little barber shop in Summit County, Co. I am the only barber and I run it the I see fit. Its hard when you are a one man show. Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the new -slight- remix, I did a final round of "normalization" when all the songs were finished (proper mastering I guess?) and that kind of did the trick!
