Upchurch Appalachia just dropped today and its FIRE

The song that Babymetal did with Bring Me The Horizon is called "Kingslayer". The live version at NEX_FEST is worth a watch.

🪩 ❤❤ 🦊 🔌 That was Momoko, the newest BABYMETAL member, with an "Are you ready?" growl and joining in with the two "Everybody!" growls. The members refer to this as showing her fangs. : ) Nico's high register combined with Su's soprano voice, made this a match-up that had to happen. The 'Kingslayer' collaboration with Bring Me the Horizon (especially the live version) is great. And for a recent BABYMETAL song that's not a collab, 'Monochrome" is a good choice. There's a great version that's live at PIA Arena.

Looks like your reaction got buried among the many hundreds of reactions when this came out, so most of the BABYMETAL fans have missed it (I know I did ... I'm here now). Great first reaction. As I'm sure you know, this is a straight collaboration between the two bands even though it is very much in the Electric Callboy style. BABYMETAL do everything. That's one reason their collaborations all work so well, they are so versatile they can do pretty much whatever style and match up with whoever they are collaborating with (eg with Bring Me The Horizon on their song 'Kingslayer' ... there is an official live video for that from when they performed it together early in November in Tokyo last year for the first time - it was recorded in 2020). BABYMETAL mix things up even more than Electric Callboy and they are the best live entertainment of any kind that I've had the privilege to experience in person. They are a live performance act and they need to be seen and heard live before you will know what they are really about. They pioneered their own metal sub-genre fusing metal with J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics (including introducing choreographed dance to metal ... yes they did that - but not choreo as you may know it from pop acts etc, BABYMETAL's choreo is bespoke for each song, it helps with interpreting the meaning of the song or a lyric, but most importantly it involves and includes the crowd). They have gone on to mix and blend so many more styles with the metal. They are both original and unique. With their beginnings in JPop their vocals are clean (the whole concept was formed around lead singer Su-metal's vocal talents) although historically they have included growls and screams in many of their songs (generally on backing track with additional instruments like synth, piano, strings etc). The original third member Yuimetal left in 2018 because of poor health. Su-metal and the other original member Moametal continued as a duo for 4-5 years supported by 3 dancers who would take turns in the third spot. On 1st April 2023 the last of those dancers was revealed as the new official third member. She is Momometal and it seems she can growl (in this song the second "Are you ready" and both "Everybody"s were her). They have nearly 70 songs now, each one different to the last - some are good hard metal, some lean towards their pop roots, they do everything in between and they will also mix and blend in so many other musical styles and genres with the metal. Pick any live BABYMETAL song, you can't go wrong. As well as the collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon ('Kingslayer' official live) how about another fun BABYMETAL song - 'Metali' featuring Tom Morello official live video again.

Most of upchurchs catalog is rap, he’s been undeniably the biggest and best in “country rap”. Tom posted something about coming to take over country rap so upchurch dissed Tom like 4 times and never got a response. Upchurch always throws jabs first before actually dissing and he first came out with “why boys” and alsmost right after dropped “Tom Macdonald diss” which also had no response. Then this random guy named mesus who is friends with Adam came out and got mad because upchurch said he didn’t know who mesus was 😂 then upchurch put out 2 more tracks trolling Tom, Adam, and mesus called “no title remix 3” and “no title remix 4”. They never responded, mesus shut up, Tom hasn’t made anything refrencing country and Adam hasn’t done anything at all. Upchurch shut that beef down real quick 😂 also upchurch has made lots of songs with Adam including an album. Adam is only in the game right now because of upchurch. Adam wasn’t in the rap game until upchurch invited Adam over to make comedy videos because that’s what they did at the time, Adam got to watch upchurch film a music video and Adam told upchurch he used to rap back in the day in the streets of Chicago so upchurch decided to make a song with him that blew up and got tens of millions of views called “die tonight” Adam has a whole video on this called “the story of me and upchurch”

Even though this song has like 160 million views i will say it’s not the best introduction to upchurch. It’s a great smokers anthem and amazing song but like the one guy said he wrote this really quick and doesn’t show his skill when it comes to his music
