I have played guitar forever but never got into G tuning but your tutorial has inspired me to join the gang and have some fun. I will follow your licks then get amongst Keith's work with the Stones. Thanks for your post, I loved your groove and the licks.

Thanks bro. I recently started learning DADGAD, blues fan, thank you for your video. I would like to see more blues in this tuning with your explanations. With great respect from Russia... 🇷🇺🤝🇮🇪

What effects were you using for the jam at the end? Nice guitar playing by the way.

I have a Squier Classic Vibe Tele which I keep in open G (with a low D) mainly for Keith Richards moments and for slide playing. However, I hadn't thought about using it for playing other Blues tunes so this was really helpful. I also have a Danelectro 56-U2 which I keep in open D for slide playing. Definitely need to experiment more.

I prefer DADFAD, which is minor D open tuning, sounds dark and sometimes creepy, just like Clint Eastwood would like when his Man Without Name kills one more bad guy.
