Thank you for your very informative video. I finally got funding to purchase the program for my TK and K learners and needed to know what everything was for. You clarified quite a bit for me. Again, thank you.

How long did your kids use the program? I have three kids and I think I will need it for all of the years they have available. I am just on the fence on whether or not to buy books for each of them or have them use our protective pockets. Any input on individual books vs reused would be appreciated. I thank you for your time and videos!

You are so funny! I didn’t buy anything but the workbooks, a few years ago. It’s a good curriculum but not necessary to teach kids to write. But totally up to the parent and what they like and want to teach! 👍🏻

I can't believe how alike we are, it's crazy! I have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, 2 small children who I homeschool and I felt like I was drowning in a dirty house. I also have ADHD and I hyperfocus on things and research like crazy, so I came across family minimalism about 2 years ago and it's changed our lives! You mentioned all my fave KZfaqrs and books too. Oh, and I also have a sore rib and I'm waiting for the chiropractor!!!! 😂😂I knew KZfaq 'sugestions' were good, but not that good 🤣🤣 new subscriber here! ❤️

Aw thank you! I’ll be back. I’m still chewing on what homeschool content I might share. We’ve been just kinda flowing in and out of a lot of materials the last few months and I feel complete peace at not committing to any one thing. I may do more reviews afterwards, maybe a homeschool routine, and some fave homeschool books. I’m in a season of just really learning to trust my homeschool mom intuition, and just follow it. ❤️

Thanks so much for the video! Did you feel like you needed the little pencils or do you think regular pencils will work?
@BurtonFamily
@BurtonFamily 2 жыл бұрын
Im pretty sure my kids have mostly just used regular pencils, I haven’t watched this video in a while so that might not be true. Oh, the HWWT pencils, no, I don’t think I ever bought those.
@jbadaniels
@jbadaniels 2 жыл бұрын
Speaking from the perspective of an occupational therapist, the HWT pencils are useful for developing “in hand manipulation” ie fine motor skills. The curriculum has you ask the kids flip the pencils from one end to the other while in their hand. The other purpose for the “little” pencils” is that little hands need little tools. Golf pencils are a nice substitute, or just have the kids use old pencils that have been sharpened down so they are smaller. If they still have an eraser on them you could substitute flipping to use the eraser to practice erasing.

Hi! Just curious if you enjoyed these curriculums this year and if you will continue them next year :)
@BurtonFamily
@BurtonFamily 3 жыл бұрын
We did enjoy them, however, we renovated our house and then moved about 4 states away this year, and it became easier in all that to use Time4Learning.com. My kindergartener did get tired of the Bible lessons in her Master Books curriculum, just because she wanted to get the lessons done so she could go play. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just keepin it real.
