Everybody’s freaking out but they don’t realize that used car lots do this every day they buy a car at the auction for pennies on a dollar turn around spend two or 300 on a detail, then sell it for six or seven grand there’s always somebody wanting to work truck There’s plenty of guys lining up to get them. That’s how the game works. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a vehicle that was dirty and nasty and drug at home spent three or four hours on it and it turns around and looks it’s clean as it did today it came off the showroomand then people always complement me on how good on how clean the truck is how clean it looks and then I go yeah you wanna buy it and turn around and sell it and then I’m on to the next one. People don’t realize that this is a good way to hustle and make some extra money you buy a car that mechanically is OK but looks rough. You clean it you polish it you detail it the best you can and you can turn right around and usually double your money.

I know you're helpin a dude out, but as my old man always said, do it right or don't do it at all. Could've worked out a contingency deal with him. Sell for this, you give me that. Sell for that, you give me this. 🤷♂️
@Iconautosports4 ай бұрын
Few Question Doug. Was your old man a business owner? Do you honestly think he did everything in life to 100% max efficiency? Do you do everything in life to maximum efficiency? If you had a sandwich shop and someone just wanted to buy chips would you not sell them the chips because they didn’t buy a sandwich? If you had a flooring or roofing business but the customer budget doesn’t allow them the meet the price you set, would you not give them options for cheaper materials 🤔 Like I don’t get it with you people on here. I literally state what the customer wanted me to do and he thought it looked amazing and threw me a big tip after paying me and probably sold the work truck for at least 6k+ vs if it wasn’t halfway cleaned 🤣🤣 If you never own a business I don’t expect many to get it but as an owner my price is my price and if I feel I will lose more time then money I won’t do it. But when it comes to getting business from a customer and I know there budget then I can make a decision on doing it or not. At the end of the day they got what they wanted and so did I. It’s not about doing it the right way hell if they wanted it done the right way then that job would have been in the hundreds or thousands. You don’t go to a Toyota dealership and put money down on a prius and get a s class Mercedes 🤣

Nice video. I also have a 2016 Nissan Rogue and happened to us bad rains drains were clogged and car flooded inside. I removed the hood wipers and plastic cover under wipers and windshield. The drain outlet has a check valve that literally does not do anything but make unsuspecting owners take their car to an expensive dealer for a 1 hour fix that they charge $1200 or more. I found the drain holes and took my plastic string trimmer wire through the hole. I took a needle nose plier and removed the valve string trimmer wire flushed right through and add water with bottle to confirm clear. I then took a straw and slipped the trimmer wire through it until the straw was pushed into the hole. I then used compressed air to flush out debris through straw hole. 50 minutes start to finish.
@Iconautosports6 ай бұрын
Ya when I found this out I was like who the hell okay this design 🤣🤣
@norcalnewsnetwork6 ай бұрын
No shit. They knew that owners would have to pay the dealer to get it fixed. I wonder if a lawsuit was threatened if Nissan would step-up.
