The tone orwell use is tremendously cynical .He destroy man dignity by demonstrate the power of love ,then trash it by his own decision persoective 1984 from start to end is miserable story .With all his intellectuals qualities ,choose for moral despair is not pleasant ,its not the context wich undignify humans ,its the author himself .cynical view make it in result not worth of respect . Its a shame to put ur intelligence ( and he has it wealthy )in work of sorrow and despair .
