whats cool about Eggers is he did his own theatre productions of Nosferatu when he was younger. Nice to see someone with the directing style and long term passion of Eggers doing the remake

I think Burton has it in the bag. The use of practical effects used to be a major part of his best works, so going back to it for this movie seemed like a good idea. And from the trailers I've seen so far, including this one...I'd say it's going to be a smash success.

It says this is a NEW entry in the Shamyalan (sp?) universe. Maybe there is no twist at all but a suspense-filled cat and mouse game. Whatever it is, I’m stoked to see it. We have already got our tix for the 2nd.

I think a lot of you guys are not taking into account that Josh Hartnett is the lead. He has the well known reputation for taking on quirky roles and in these trailers he looks like he’s having fun with the role. Got our tickets already for the first screening!

2:30 the only way that makes sense is that the police Just uncovered his identity within the days before the timeline of this movie, saw that he had a daughter and arranged her (or him) to get free tickets to this show to lure him out…..there are a lot of cases of the police pulling stunts like that to lure suspects into a secure location. A concert is the opposite of a secure location 😅
@allimsayingis2415
@allimsayingis2415 Ай бұрын
The idea of this movie seems idiotic. The plan is to throw a concert, to "Trap" a serial killer in a stadium with potential victims?😂😂😂 How do they even know he will be there without any knowledge of what he looks like? Seems like a major risk. Plenty of places for a serial killer to hide/wreak havoc. It just seems like this movie is going to have the dumbest ways of connecting everything to force it to try and work. Maybe the writer's strike wasn't a bad thing. The strike ending in my opinion has brought out some of the biggest piles of dog sh!t I've seen in some time and being a dog person, I have seen some dog sh!t

Yes, it makes no sense. They are "checking everyone's faces", yet he's right there in their faces and no cop recognizes him. What's the point of doing all of that if they don't know how he looks?
@mgariepy42
@mgariepy42 25 күн бұрын
They don’t know what he looks like. His psychiatrist has profiled the Butcher so they might go on that. Or someone tipped them off to what he’s wearing. These are little bits to consider in this trailer which shows her voiceover profiling him and shows his change of clothes.

I sh*t you not… I saw some weird stuff in the middle of the night when I visited the islands last year. Like, green lasers in the middle of the night like 2 to 3 am. Peeking my eyes open I caught it 2 nights in a row. Like a green emitting light. It’s very hard to describe. Like a whisp.or a fairies light.. but you can’t see the fairy. Laser like green.

"the old creepy ass, Pennywise" lol Yep, old and creepy he was indeed. I've recently got the 1979 Nosferatu played by Klaus Kinski (talk about old and creepy ass people!) on dvd, and I'm waiting for my copy of FW Murnau's Nosferatu Symphony of the Night to arrive. I don't know if you've seen it, but Shadow of the Vampire is an excellent film about the making of Murnau's film, and Count Orlok in that is played by none other than Willem Dafoe!

It's a real shame that a talented actor like Hugh Grant accepts these easy roles that Hollywood offers him and doesn't think about playing cultural roles, great figures from world history, key figures in literature, arts and philosophy - in short, roles that provide the public with a positive cultural opening.

Robert has been wanting to remake Nosferatu for a long long time. He produced a high school stageplay in 2001 when he was around 18 years old. He played Count Orlok himself. He was originally going to make Nosferatu his directorial debut but it was too ambituous at the time.

The people who animated these used to animate for warhammer40k but gw fricked them in the a55 because of their strict IP laws. So they moved to Bandai and this is their first project, something to bridge the Warhammer modeling community and the gunpla community I guess. This is made in unreal engine 5 btw but I do have to admit the animations are a bit uncanny but that's to be expected since they aren't doing it in like motion blur which is what makes cgi films look less uncanny because you hide the movements in blur but the animation in this is smooth all the way through which is what makes it look strange because we simply aren't used to smooth transitions in cgi and this is partly the reason why pixar cgi films haven't worked in a while because the smooth transition of cgi simply doesn't look very natural.
