I have this car I love it :) 120k miles in and just started adding performance upgrades on the old genuine parts new intercooler induction charge pipes the lot all ready for remaps, what did you think stage 1/ stage 2 was getting? I’ve already taken the Xhpf gear box remap this car is brilliant even when you think u have no fuel somehow you can drive 80 miles lol 😂 and for 120k miles only issue is the intake pipe has broken yet still drives and it was plastic so what can I say! 😂

This one is petrol. Diesel A180 has 109 BHP and 250nm of torque. With tuning disel A180 and come up to 165-170 bhp and 380nm of torque, but there are just about none of the in New Zealand.

I have the exact same car but with DCT automatic gear , is there any problems to do a tuning ? 178 Ps is the offer from the tuner im scared only from the NM will it be to much for the DCT ?

I wouldn’t actually be surprised in the real world (rolling start) that a mapped RWD 330d would be quicker than the 335d due to having that X-drive weight penalty not to mention more wheel power loss.

usually between 950+GSt to 1500+GST, depending on flash/dyno and what mods been done.

would a b48 provide better numbers? Are they more reliable? reffering to a 2016 320i lci. And what mods are needed for a stage 2? Downpipe and intake setup? Would i be expecting 200rwkw from a stage 2? Thanks awesome video

Since when did the F30 320i ever come with a B48? The engine cover is a clear indicator, but some parts will quite literally have engravings saying “N20” on them.

I would love to have that argument for the sake of argument :) Let's try. Let's start with the track, and I don't mean dragstrip, I mean the actual track. I've driven both on track. w205 is at least 50% more controllable, the gearbox does what its told, and power out of corners is much more useful than W204. The chassis is a lot more controllable. Your turn :)

@@EuroSurgeonNz i would agree the 205 would most likely have better performance being newer and more features, easier to tune since its already boosted but you can also boost the 6.2 if u desire. i mean theres a reason why they chose to use the 6.2 in the amg gt gt3.

@@hEXordo Ive boosted few M156. Raw power, but nowhere near the control of M177. Straight line power - yeah defo, cause even with basic charger m156 will make another 80-100 BHP more than maxed out M177. But for me, personally, control is everything.

I own a 2017 330e with: Catless down pipe Resonator delete Akrapovic exhaust Cold air intake JB4 tuner on 22psi target I get tons of torque and the car is really fast but I’ve never had it on a Dyno, do you have an idea what kind of numbers I could expect with these mods? by just changing the downpipe how much did u gain without tuning or u did the tuning for the gain?

you cant run catless without a tune, as it will throw cat-efficiency DTC. Also, with most of the modern ECUs power is controlled by ECU so the hardware itself won't give you much. Treat hardware as a restriction to tuning. So removing cats will derestrict maybe 10-15WHP without a tune.

Could you work with my MB independent shop here in the US for a 540hp tune? it's a 2009 with 40k miles. I'm guessing there would be some sort of mapping sent to you from stock then you'd send a tune back to be loaded?

184 hp are the 320i's with B48B20 engine before 2017, those where around 170hp stock

What? That makes no sense where do you have that information from? The efficient dynamics version had 170hp The 320i started having 184hp in 2012 with the n20 and then got a facelift in the end of 2015 with the b48 continuing to have 184 hp

if you find me pre-2015 320i with B48 engine from the factory, I will buy it from you. 2015 was the start of LCi production where they replaced n20 with b48. and none of the n20s make 170 bhp, the 320i EDE made 170 with n13 engine.

This Arteon uses EA888.3. Facelift R uses EA888.4.
