I am too talkative it's like even though I know that I am talking too much I can not stop; I have too many friends and we together talk and most of The time we all talk to our teachers and sometimes I just say things which I regret later sometimes I disturb class even sometime I annoy my favourite teachers. Just yesterday I went to my class teacher to talk about something and she was teaching she scolded me and she is my favourite; thats why I am here to control my mouth and words but still I can't, I am such a horrible person

Had a meeting today at work and it's evident that my boss is trying to get me to quit, any concern I have she does the opposite, everything she said to me yesterday in private was a lie, it's time for me to start over, preferably in a new state, going to try my best to do so.

If you are not where you are wanted, if you can’t thrive where you are, it is time to move on. Where There Is A Will, There Is A Way!!! You’ve got this, you can restart all over again. You can hold down a new job elsewhere and begin again. That is what life is about! ❤ love & blessings to you!

My ex turned silent for 2 years and it made me look and feel unstable, Angry, and problematic. I’ve allowed this sorry excuse of a man,to turn everything that I was to a disturbed emotional train wreck.

Here's the problem, I have a rich aunt who used to buy all sorts of stuff and take us on trips, she took us to Disneyland 3 times, and I used to say "Oh my God, aunt thank you so very much you're the best" and she'd say "Don't worry, you're a smart kid, responsible, deserving...you'll pay me back one day" and how the f*ck can I say "Nah I don't owe you anything". Everytime I mess up I feel twice as bad because I just feel I'm letting my family down, I mean god damn it I've been carrying that weight for most of my life and I do feel I messed up hard in life because I didn't pay her back...if I could go back on time I shouldn't have accepted all those gifts but I was just a kid, wtf did I know

Most of us think that quiet people were "shy, rude or arrogant" but that is not right. But in reality, people who talk more are tend to be egoistic 😌. I understood this when the quietness within me begins slowly since from my 20's. Nowdays i also love to be alone.

I did all of this in 2019. That was such an optimistic time. Then the pandemic happened. My problem is I've faced so many setbacks due to things outside of my control I'm too afraid to take risks.

I read about 50 books a year. On December 31st of last year I made a promise to myself to read different authors to expand my knowledge. I don't spend money on books. I check tem out for free at the local library. I like the tangible book rather than the ebook because I have retina issues. My mother encouraged reading for the summer at the age of 10. It is a solitary activity and thats what she wanted so we did not socialize with the wrong crowd. I am 56 and I encourage my husband to read because it helps with dementia-related dieases.

The silent treatment is never OK. It is very damaging to the other person as it conveys a message that what they feel doesn’t matter and they aren’t even worth your words. If you feel overwhelmed or triggered by the conversation you tell the other person that and then tell them the reasonable amount of time you need for a break before you come back to that topic.

As hard as I try, I always talk way too much. Often, I ignore what people are saying and I talk over them. I feel like I’m trash. Every time after I have a conversation, I realize what a mistake I made. My life=regretting. How do I monitor myself during a conversation??

You’ll get over it with cutting people out, I had this friend of 2 years who started doxxing me to people and being rude and I kept saying no it’s okay until I was fed up with his shit and I just blocked him on everything and cut off all ties with him and I am doing a lot better without him

I'm usually the quiet one until I do have something to say. People usually do refer me as the shy one but I'm not really shy. I get more curious with people......in general. I observe everyone especially new people I meet. It makes me wanna learn more about psychology in all aspects to get in the minds without saying a word yet a smile when I begin to figure or already have figured them out. The mind itself is a big world of its own and always has enough room to learn and store more. 😉 😉

Here are some ethical tips to help you network more effectively and efficiently: 1. Identify your goals. What do you hope to gain from networking - new connections, job opportunities, industry insights? Having clear objectives will guide your approach. 2. Leverage your existing network. Reach out to friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances to ask for introductions to people in your target industry or role. 3. Attend relevant events and conferences. This allows you to meet people with shared interests and goals face-to-face. Come prepared with an elevator pitch. 4. Join professional associations or online communities. Participate actively by commenting, sharing content, and offering to help others. This builds your reputation. 5. Be a connector. When you meet someone who could benefit from knowing one of your other contacts, make the introduction. People will remember you as someone who adds value. 6. Follow up promptly. After making a new connection, send a personalized note to continue the conversation and suggest a next step, like a coffee meeting. 7. Offer value first. Look for ways you can assist others, whether through information, advice, or referrals. Givers gain in networking. 8. Maintain relationships over time. Check in periodically, share relevant updates, and be responsive when your contacts reach out. The key is to network strategically and authentically, rather than just trying to "network faster." Quality connections built on mutual benefit are more valuable than quantity.

It's easy to give cliched advice that people need to step out of their comfort zone to start something new in life, but there's a deeper idea that must be explained when taking the biggest risk in your life to pursue a dream. A person has to be honest with themselves when leaving comfort zones. What do they fear? How are they encouraging or not encouraging themselves? Who are they listening to for advice? Why are they motivated to make a significant change in their life? How will they handle stumbling or experiencing failure along the way? Will they be forgiving of themselves when they make mistakes? People often look up to someone that is richly successful and think I want to be that person too. But do they think thru the blood, sweat, and tears it took to achieve the success? Are they willing to do the same? The answer should be, "Yes", if the motivation is right. This truth is what it means to leave one's comfort zone to achieve one's dream(s). It's powerful when we can be honest about life in this way. 💯

I gave last 4 years of my life trying to get into med school but i failed to do so. This year i decided to start over. I will enter a tier 3 college opting math as my subject. Honestly i have always wanted to do math so starting over with this does make me happy and it's not like i care about what other's think. But I'm honestly scared to start over, the lingering regrets of failing is still there and I'm also scared thinking what if i fail again. I just don't know what I'm feeling right now either

I learned about this when it happened- never knew until i was in the midst of the third one by my now ex-boyfriend. It’s hurtful and works to make you feel bad about yourself and gave him control- to make me want to apologize (for doing nothing ) or to plead for his attention. It’s immature and lame. In his case , i think it was a “soft discard” to test me. I figured it out and told him it was great to finally “figure it out” which made him want to desperately know what i had figured out . Never told him, went no contact, and then started a deep dive to understand relationships and abuse better: now i know all the red flags of manipulation- and this is def one of them, so i guess it was meant to be, so id learn how to Protect myself in future !

where is your understanding, in times of need. where is your understanding, in times of pain. where is your understanding, in times of self-representation. where is your knolage, when it costs knolage. where is mercy, when it cost mercy. where is your barrier, if it cost knowing. where is your peace,if it costs agrements and rite. where is your body, if it costs a mind. where is your life, if it costs God Almighty. where is your family, if it costs a friend. (Gods' friend) where is your world, if its self build. where is your man, if it cost Alpha. where is your water, if it cost a desert. where is your island, if it cost a path. where is your sun, if it cost a lifestyle. where is your house, if time cost travilling. where is your health, if you stand alone. where is your love, if you still on the phone. where is your god, if its me that is shown.

What hurts is not only getting silent treatment but getting gaslit on top of silent treatment especially if you get silent treatment and gaslit by multiple people hurts very much . What hurts even more is when your friends and family all give you the silent treatment .😢

I am a quiet person and am introverted/reserved in real life and I like my solitude a lot and I prefer to live a quiet and peaceful life away from the strife of the world. My mom has called me a hermit before. I tend to think that people who are loud or very talkative are annoying.
