The hidden winch has a horrible flaw. You can’t put it in free spool. It’s very frustrating! If I had known before I had it installed I never would’ve bought it. If you lose functionality it’s a flawed system. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I hate it! I have Rough Country running boards and the spare tire mount upgrade and those are quality products I can recommend. This hidden winch is a waste of money.
