Bach, un génie intemporel qui a permis a un autre grand musicien de notre époque, malheureusement décédé trop jeune, de réinterpréter ses œuvres avec finesse et virtuosité. Je parle de Rick van der Linden. Bach aurait aimé, lui même en a fait autant pour notre plus grand bonheur .

Can someone please explain to me? At the 2:30 point, listening to many performances, I get the feeling that the soloist is playing separately from the orchestra. Why are the top notes emphasized here rather than the first sixteenth notes for a smoother and clearer sound? I feel like everything is about to fall apart

Goodness gracious! I don't think I've ever heard a tenderer, more nuanced, more meaningful Andante. The other movements rival Oistrakh. The articulation is superb and very satisfying, the phrasing is authoritative. What a wonderful version!
