I've only seen the Highway Patrol Lassiter V16 in cutscenes/spawned through mods but I never knew it actually responds as an actual police unit. Very cool! It's a shame this bad boy didn't make it into the definitive edition

Police disappears too fast, you hide like maybe 10 seconds or 20 and they're gone. When cars find you they don't engage in pursuit because the AI is simplistic. It just rams you in the opposite lane. The only cool moments is when they actually try to engage pursuit from behind, which can be short in duration or just rare

So even if I break traffic laws the cops will shoot me this is a type of scenario where it's a shoot first ask questions later kinda thing they are just as bad as the LSPD in GTA online

Anytime I started take a ride with a boat in Miami, i can start 18 wheeler anarchy mode, but instead of trucks, you get taxis and cop cars.

You should do the GTA 5 RDE 4.0.3 (Along with DTAR AI features that comes in the optionals folder) mod police behaivor showcase, it completely revamps the police behaivor and AI. It also gives new local, state and federal agencies to try and arrest you.

Imagine being in the middle of saint denis, then wanted, escaping. then, it's almost impossible escape without the police recognising you.

Interesting to note: The Police use Coast Guard boats, not Police boats.

I actually didn't knew the cops wouldn't shoot you immediately if you were in that first stage of wanted level, I played so much GTA before this which made me think they would immediately try to arrest me and take all of my weapons and cash away just like GTA, and with that mindset, I immediately just tried to drive away every time. Turns out that working with them is easier, faster and you lose some heat which is always welcome, besides it's a great detail how they ask you to put your weapon away while pointing theirs at you, they're aware Tony is a threat but instead try to de-escalate the situation, it's something I've seen a bunch of real cops do as well.

Just so you know, in Mafia 3, police will shoot a black man dead if they saw him brandishing a gun because, in 1968 (as they most likely do now), police don't know or don't care that black people have rights.

Honestly Mafia 3 is such a downgrade in a lot of things including police, and i don't think is because of the main character, i think that's just an excuse from the devs

Damn Police in San Francisco is much more polite than in Los santos.

One of the most fun wanted systems in a game I remember my first time going to saint denis triggering a $1,500 bounty that all started from me accidentally running over a pedestrian I also love how they carried over from the first game you don’t escape from your actions unless you pay off your bounty going camping and waking up surrounded by bounty hunters makes it feel like it’s a movie
