Nope. That's The owner for Full Throttle Hobbies in California who has done reviews for many different buggys and races more then a few different brands he currently has.

I saw this was a rtr with upgrades. What upgrades were put on the rtr?
@casterracingАй бұрын
Most usually get the aluminum steering knuckles or sometimes the Aluminum C-hubs with the knuckles.

Are replacement pre-painted bodies available?
@casterracingАй бұрын
They are available for us to order for stock but they are nowhere near as durable as the kit body's as they are made from a different material. So we carry the kit body's for replacements now.

What's the difference to the ex3 rtr
@casterracing2 ай бұрын
Totally different suspension and differential cases. The EX is a pillow ball suspension design exactly the same from 2004. The ETO is much newer C-hub design.

Caster has been making vehicles since 2004 and was the very first company to have a 1/8 Ebuggy. The owner is actually an RC OEM Manufacturer who make parts for many of the other brands.

Cool didn’t even know caster still exists! I loved putting mine against big dollar cars! Although I did put a fair amount into my chassis! And ran open class with modded.28 and 19t bell 50mph was pretty easy on 25% although hard on clutches lol! got 2 nitro’s a buggy and a truggy and a fusion brushless buggy on 8s I’m keen to get them out and running again, but I need parts!

What's the track grip ? Low to mid? Or high? Cheers.

Dose the body hit the battery? Also. Those side guards look to close to rear tires. Wet dirt would fill the chassis like cheese grater.

Body clears battery with no issues. No dirt gets in the chassis. The body sits right up along the guards front to back.

It's ran on a single 4S pack. You can run 3S if you want. The battery tray is actually setup where it fits a 2S or two 2 packs with clearance for the wires too when they are stacked staggered.

Awesome E-Buggy. It seems expensive if you compare it to something like a TLR Typhon but for someone who is really into racing I guess it's not that expensive. I'm sure it drives like a dream and is worth every Penney. Thanks for sharing this beautiful car. 👍👍

Ah not even close. The reviewer runs his own track and is a sponsored Mugen driver for years now. Let's new racers race the buggy and people who want to try ebuggy out at his track at a cheaper price point then the Mugen to get into the Hobby. Nice try though.
@GlubschiaugLP Жыл бұрын
Honestly having a cheaper alternative to the big brands is a good move imo! It makes it easier for ppl to give the hobby a try without having to spend a monthly salary! Remember you can always upgrade later down the line!
