I didn't watch the first one so I have no experience with this franchise. To me, it just looked like a see how it is kind of movie & since I haven't seen the new one yet, I have no opinion on it My bets that Borderlands is going to be worse

1 was good, 2 was average, 3 was poor and this one was forced and boring. Eddie looks like an oap and just wasnt funny.

Agree 💯. What a let down. Boring direction. Weak lazy script. Everything felt forced. Characters all acted over the top. Some good moments but thats all they were, moments. This movie is just a pale imitation of the first 2 movies, but not nearly as fun or fresh. This and the coming to America sequel, as well as the last few indy movies prove you just can't replicate that 80s magic in the modern era.

This movie was complete ass. Nostalgia alone doesn't make it good. And where did the famous Axel Foley laugh go? WTF?!

The whole daughter storyline dragged this movie down & the character of the daughter was so annoying and unlikable. The movie should have been Eddie & Joseph Gordon- Lewitt doing the investigation and playing off each other, instead of the daughter bitching around.

Definitely hyped to play a zelda game where zelda is a playable main character many fans including myself have waited to do that for years gameplay wise it gives off 2d tears of the kingdom vibes and graphics/art design wise it gives off links awakening vibes

I do not feel soured by it at all, not specifically because I do not expect Zelda to use a sword, but because I personally think Nintendo has been conditioning us away from it. This specific playstyle while certainly new, is pretty in line with what we are used to from Breath of the Wild. You can defeat a group of Bokoblins by dropping a boulder from a mountain. I feel like a good transitioning game for this, and part of the reason I'm used to this is because of Cadence of Hyrule, where not only do you get the Link sword experience, but you also get to play as Zelda who uses spells instead. If you still feel like this game is too different, i really recommend trying out Cadence of Hyrule before heading into Echoes of Wisdom.

The thing is that Zelda is not a knight. The chosen hero was given the Master Sword by the Goddess Hylia, so it'd be weird if Zelda was able to wield it just because Link's gone. That's just my opinion.

I won't be playing this one. It has a Zelda title sure but I refuse to cannonize it. If its not Link saving Hyrule then it is not part of the timeline and I will go out of my way to ignore its existence the same as triforce heroes, hyrule warriors, 4 swords, and the strange 3Ds alongside the 2ds games they dropped. Do us a favor Nintendo. Stop screwing with your fanbases. If we wanted this kinda crap wed ask for a new IP instead of openly having our favorite games be ruined by a guy who EVERYTIME he touches the Zelda title he ruins it by trying to implement his crap ideas like the rental system in a link between worlds, needing 3 more friends to play four sword, collecting rupees as a minigame but making it a main game in triforce heroes, making hyrule warriors anything like dynasty warriors(not a great game type) and NOT including its amazing story as cannon for the games overarching storyline. Truth is Nintendos been fumbling the bag since Miyamoto stepped down from game dev with Zelda. Haven't had a straight forward and GOOD Zelda game since. Sure we've had minigames and sandbox titles but not a core Zelda the way it was meant to be played.

I see where you're coming from but I think if Zelda fights too similar to Link then it doesn't justify using Zelda as a character - it'll just be a different skin. I like it, but this game will definitely play differently from the usual Legend of Zelda game. I wish we got a remake of the Oracles games though, a 2 in 1 package with Seasons/Ages in one game.
