@@WildCard73s we love it. just couple days agp i did another service including the sub transmission. easy to work on, only thing i do not like about it is how sensitive the gas is taking off can be smooth but a little jerky besides that its been a killer machine.

God I love lb7’s. Call me crazy but my dream truck is an 04 lb7 double/crew vab bone stock maybe with a 5” exhaust tip and that’s it. Maybe a 6” lift but man they sound incredible. My tundras cool but not that cool.

That's what I got 04 ccsb 3" turbo horn, boost valve, 5" turbo back w/ 12" tip I know it might look dumb but idgaf she straight barks sounds like a s400 but with the factory turbo never been tuned and has been an awesome truck no lift running 35" procomps r18

I've got one 03 sierra crew cab short bed 4x4 and one 04 silverado crew cab short bed 4x4 the sierra is leveled on 33s I put freedom racing heads and studs a 64mm turbo and tunes with a lift pump that bitch sings . The 04 I gave 6k for because it needed injectors it has a brand new motor in it the guy had all the paperwork even the machine shop paperwork its just lifted 4 inches with 35s tuned and a lift pump though because it's not studded and has factory heads I love them both obviously I daily the sierra because it's got all the go fast parts on it

2002 GMC Sierra 3500 SLT Dually. Rebuilt LB7 Duramax myself at 301k on a slung valve, 6 planetary gear modeled after peterbilt/kenworth differentials, cold air intake and a delayed wastegate on the turbo pushing to 26 Psi and an extra 100rwhp. Completely new fuel system and treated regularly, strongest stock suspension available. 20mpg RWD. Truck pulls what ever I need it too and is fuel efficient enough for work and long hauls. Been all over Texas in it and it puts a smile on my face hearing that old engine still working its ass off at 330k. never selling, was my papas truck. Love the shit out of it, currently getting cab rebuilt after i got hit by a semi and I was able to successfully save the original cab and reassemble it with parts from other trucks. It is now in the shop getting a complete paint and polish finish. When its one Im rebuilding the driver suspension, steel step bars, steel rear and front bumpers and restoring the entire interior to factory. 👍 She will live another 22 years

Thanks for the detailed video. A few questions i have As others mentioned, my manual states to CHECK front and final gear oil on the initial service interval, and that replacement isnt required for 2 years. The manual also states, per the initial 100 mile service interval, that the valve clearance be inspected. Curious as to why you would forgo one of the suggested maintenance items while also performing another much ahead of schedule. Thanks for your reply

cause im not.worried about the valve lash. thats kore of a dummy check. and as far as fluids go your never hurting anything by doing fluids early ever

@@nathangray4593 its like checking it "incase" something came loose and you can catch it beforr it does from the factory it shouldnt change clearances after 100 miles. why 100 and not 300? ya know.

because it wont hurt it, the diff fluid musta been a break in fluid too cause it wad lime green is and not typical gear oil.

Great video! Question on the front and rear gear oil service, does your model call out for this gear oil to be serviced on the 100 mile service? I have the 1000-6 and on my manual it is not marked on the 100 mile service, it says every two years, just curious on this .. thx
