This is so fascinating; I have some "aqua dragons" right now that are thriving pretty well, but I knew that they were brine shrimp before I ordered them and have been taking care of them according to how you'd care for brine shrimp. However, the thing that I find interesting is the fact that the original sea monkey kit would have eggs in the water conditioning packet; I find this interesting because I have noticed some very small, almost newly hatched larvae in my tank which is odd since my other monkeys aren't mature enough to reproduce. Then the other day I had transferred their food from the packet to an air tight container and I thought I noticed some eggs in there. I felt like it was a bit of a wild theory, but after watching this I feel it's perfectly plausible! I'm not upset by it, as I'm well aware that brine shrimp don't have a very long lifespan and it's fun to be reminded of just how small they were and see how much they've grown.

i bred my bettas and grow brine shrimp to feed to the fry. i just use an empty coke bottle with aquarium salt and tank water in a 80F environment. you MUST use an airhose, otherwise the larva sediment and run out of oxygen.

This show helped ne get my IB diploma in highschool. It inspired my biology senior project where i took samples of freshwater from my local golf course to find out how the fertilizers and chemicals affected micro diversity in surrounding ecosystems. I even found a litte rotifer and a bunch of slug looking desmids

Dust mites are mostly harmless, their harmful bites are fake, they just bite dead skin cells. They always live in bed. They only poop to make us sneeze

HEY Micro folks, I have a challenge your master should find easy. So while at the grocery store yesterday I noticed at least a half dozen people STILL wearing stupid masks. One employee who had been moving carts around, grabbed her mask right in the middle with her dirty fingers to adjust it. How about finding someone with a mask who has been wearing it probably for hours, and put a sample from that under the lens? I would imagine OH THE HORRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bacteria, bug parts, dust dander mold spores of all kinds, fungus and who knows what else. I'd actually love to find out what cultures people insist on breathing through.
