The only reason this set “sucks” is because Konami pulled a BS move and made the cover monster incredibly rare and only in the QCR rarity. Had they not done that then it would’ve been a decent set.

This set sucked on announcement but I caved and tried, got 30 blisters and managed to get QCR Sky Striker Raye and Beast tamer lara Felt lucky that day lol Cashed out, not buying anymore of this set specially when infinite forbidden is right around the corner

it is like any other Battles of Legend set. Only mid. Most of the cards are worthless pennystonks. Even most of the secret rares are worthless. And if we put away the prices, the playable cards are maybe 10 or 15 in total? so why should someone open it up? buy the singles that you want and thats it.

Magia isn't that good vs the price and brining it out. It being an exclusive QCR is the only reason to chase after it. Risky investment to drop that cash when you consider it could be reprinted in the near future. Still, it has to be a good feeling to pull one. It does look pretty sick artwork wise.

I think for 65 bucks, this would be a good booster box. Especially if you manage to snag 3 or 4. Good chance of a CR then

That’s about $260 for 4 boxes. I’d rather use that money and just buy a mint copy of some of the collector rares off TCGplayer. Most of them are $20 and the sought after ones are $200-$600. Magia being the $600 one but that’s just me. Because you take a risk of buying 3-4 boxes and not getting a single collector rare or getting one of the low end ones that’s like $15

There is rumor of Evil Heroes getting more support. Konami needs to make a modern equivalent to Edison format. Because that format was so balanced that any decks including rogue decks could top and win.

If Gateway gets banned, stays limited, or gets errated, the deck is dead on arrival. Gateway must be at 3 for the deck to compete! If Gateway goes to 2, the deck becomes tier 1.5 and can randomly win some tournaments.
