Who's the guy dressed as Rocky who sticks his tongue out? ❤️

As much as I'm sure that he is a good talent, I can't forget the great words of Lillian Gish - "Never let them catch you acting!". I always see this fellow "acting" and so can't get into him.

His is more of a theatrically stage-style, where to project your voice across the room of the audience, requires more exaggerated presence I think, because what you say could also be said about Ian McKellen, Christopher Lee or Patrick Stewart for that matter - but I think for audiences who don't often get to visit directly the intensity of a stage performance, even though it may be over-the-top seeming at moments, actors who can summon up a whirlwind of drama that one may not find in the more modest actor provide a satisfaction that's only otherwise found in a stage setting where the actor's presence is directly before the viewer. My most favourite role of Jacobi is as Hamlet, in the 1980 BBC production, and he stages it up but it gives me a feeling of what stage might be like which I've never seen. He is very obviously acting but in this role the character also is playing with acting a different visage to other characters than what his inner feeling is anyway, although it might be his most self-consciously at its peak talent.

According to the credits at the end, this show is copyright 2006. Obviously materials herein are from times before then. SDJ has done a fair amount since; this, for example, does not include his "Lear," which was totally amazing.

His performance as Cyrano in the RSC's version of the play, is still my favorite version of the story.

Made my way here via Richard Mogg's "Analog Nightmares" - his review was a tad dismissive, but I'm here nonetheless, which isn't nothing (and the book as a whole is indispensible).

This is absolutely hysterical. Trilogy of Terror was one of the most memorable made for TV movies ever! Wherever did you get that doll! I loved the end...where she is squatting with the knife and then smiles with the same teeth of the doll. Freaky deeky.

Jesse Volt: this generation has no idea what clubs were like. How you were booked from Brooklyn to Babylon, Jersey to Jericho, Manhattan to Miami, ChinaTown to Cherry Hill, Asbury to Astoria, D.C. to Dallas, Palladium to Paradise Garage, Virginia to Vegas, Key West to West Hollywood, New Hope to New Mexico, Studio 54 to Crisco Disco (ok, got carried away...you didn't do Crisco or the Anvil), and beyond. Clubs were nuts. Towns like New Hope are now barren and devoid of gay culture. It's a shame. Really happy to see you! Miko
