Sorry but I am new to CZ. What is a full size magazine? Are you taking one of the 15 round magazines that come with it and adding a 18 round base plate from cz parts?
@ATexCate9 күн бұрын
Full size would be the same as SP-01/Shadow 2 (Full Size) . Full size has nothing to do with capacity, its strictly the length of the tube itself. they come in everything from a 10 and up. The basepad, spring, and follower will determine capacity past that. for example; my full size shadow runs a full size tube (I have some marked on the side at 15 and some at 17). but with my rune springs/followers and Lok Basepads. I get 23 rounds. but the tube is still simply a "full size" tube/magazine.
@richardj37154 күн бұрын
So, I see his link for the baseplate but I am still confused about which full size mag to buy. Can you enter a link to a correct full size vz shadow 2 magazine to order? Thanks.

Appreciate it Bill! The match was not a failure, rather it was a huge lesson. I’ve ran few majors that taught me as much as I learned this weekend about every aspect of my game! I’m very very excited to work through all of the mistakes. Sometimes it’s harder to find mistakes, I’m fortunate that I recognize them in a way to improve, rather than belittle myself for making them!

I use dedicated suppressors for all my rifles and pistols, The banish .223 lives on my Hellion. It's nice, not to gassy for me. The .30 Gold can lives on a 8.5 inch .300 black out and it is as quiet as I have experienced. The banish .22 lives on a Smith and Wesson M&P, its nice as well. I have the banish .45m it lives on a kriss vector. I have several other brands on different setups, just giving my opinion for others.

Nice DWX bro. I did the same adding all that weight. I’m going to get another one and go aluminum this time so it’s not so sluggish feeling on transitions.
@ATexCateАй бұрын
Yeah I’ve got the grips hollowed out. The weight in the rear gets it to cycle with 0 pop with the trade off of that sluggish movement. After this last match I switched back to aluminum myself as well

Would the firing pin block keep it drop safe with the CGW extended firing pin?
@ATexCateАй бұрын
People state it does. I don't use the extended firing pin in my carry/duty guns. Since this video I tried and tested and opted against. I recommend them for competition only. there's almost no reasonable benefit to an extended firing pin on a carry gun in my opinion. standard firing pin gets the job done reliably as is. (and I DO have extended pins in my competition CZ's).
@Fin.mint.Ай бұрын
@@ATexCate The main reason I would be interested is to lower the DA pull to that of a standard striker fired pull weight. 5.5 - 6lbs would be ideal
@ATexCateАй бұрын
@@Fin.mint. the weight of a DA pull has everything to do with the hammer spring in the grip! has less to do with the extended firing pin! the hammer spring will just determine how HARD that pin gets hit and how hard the DA pull is. lower the poundage on the hammer spring for a lighter DA pull. the pairing of the two is meant for a light hammer spring with an extended firing pin: result is a very light DA pull that hits the hammer a lot lighter, so the extended firing pin guarantees it travels far enough to strike the primer. if you drop the hammer spring to 11 you still don't need the extended pin. at that point it comes down to type of ammunition/primer used. Federals won't go off when a cci does for example.
@Fin.mint.Ай бұрын
@@ATexCate Yes, and I intend to lower the hammer spring weight thus my interest in the extended firing pin being drop safe.
@ATexCateАй бұрын
@@Fin.mint. at that point it will not be drop safe that is what im telling you.

Good video the Czechmates are epic but the Parrot version is nuts! Is it worth going up to the Czechmate from a DWX if I don't want to run major power factor in your opinion? I really like my shadow 2 so the TS2 orange is interesting but have been eyeballing the DWX since the 1911 features on a cz seems masterful; Czechmate looks spectacular and could be the way...
@ATexCate2 ай бұрын
I think they're awesome as well, would definitely take some getting used to for me. I compete with a shadow 2 and a DWX! and I LOVE them both. the czechmates are almost a little too much gun in comparison to me but I also believe if I shot one for a while id end up preferring the 5 1/4" barrel with the right tune!

I own several compact size pistols and I thought that the M&P 2.0c was my absolute favorite compact due to its light recoil and how flat it shoots, that is until I finally got the CZ P01. It is an absolute tack driver and I can easily hit 100 yards with it.
