1:41 very true, I agree , I had a bad experience with "Bad Thinking Diary" , the story was very poor and it only ended up being about the sex

1:34 ok that's actually an interesting point of view, it is true that having a setting and characters being credible and realistic will make you more attached and impacted (*_hence citrus, like big time_*) by the story because you can compare and scale it to your own experience and the world around you and that's just automatic thing for humans to make that comparison, but on the other side I think you can find enjoyment in a story that completely goes off the rails but is also fully aware of what it's doing and I think this enjoyment comes from the fact that ... well ... it's something foreign and unexpected that you're not used to see every day, and if the writer is skilled enough they can make something really original out of it, and there's a blend of both worlds in my top 5 yuri mangas : top 1 : citrus (I've yet to see a story that can equal the writing skill in Citrus, and like I said credibility of the setting, interactions, and *characters* plays a decent role in it, there's a LOT to talk about) top 2 : Murciélago (oh boi, this manga is something else, but also incredibly fun to read, not only is it cool and epic but it's funny and has likeable characters, even if this manga tends to _extrapolate_ things a bit it's able to take you by surprise, and yes it's very much yuri) top 3 : Sorry But I'm Not Into Yuri (this is one of the mangas I've grown attached to, through the character's personalities and the kind of ridiculousness of it, this manga managed to make me laugh several times but it also, AND SOMEHOW got me actually invested in the loving relationships, even though the tone is kinda loopy) top 4 : Mahou shoujo ni akogarete (So there's this girl that ended up stuck in a wall once and there's that other girl who's so bored that she builds a house of cards on her ass and she smacks her butt every time she moves a bit and she has to rebuild the house of cards because she ends up destroying it anyways when slapping it. so yeah this is the kind of crazy/funny stuff you can expect from this series, I recommend it for the comedy, the action, and the yuri, this series is rather unique and I like that about it) top 5 : Even If It was just once, I regret it (it's a wholesome yuri manga about a girl who doesn't pay her rent and so her female landlord comes to her and asks her to either pay an amount of money every day until the debt is fully repaid or pay her in "services" everyday and she'll count that as payment and by doing that the girl that didn't pay slowly ends up falling in love and discovers she likes women. please look forward to the ending as it is very memorable to me)
