As with you we also continue to struggle how ever we did find a n64 bundle with 8 games for 10 dollars and a box with a ps3 a GameCube compatible wii and 5 ps3 controllers for 3 dollars Townsend county wide was DISAPPOINTING

The new stuff is mostly gonna be recent pressings... A bit of wear on a sleeve with good nick vinyl if they're original pressings are going to be more sought after. Also check where it's pressed. Makes a difference. But you probably worked all this out. I wouldn't have thought the Slaughter record anywhere near $200 US. Especially if it's a re-pop. But, maybe?

I was finding video game stuff almost every week last year, and so far hardly any this year.

Nice pickup on the older games, yeah it’s off season here in Florida ( plus it’s just too hot 🥵 ) just been buying some stuff online till later this year. I’ll go back to the bins, estate sales, yard sales and white elephant sales later in the year.

This has been one of the toughest summers for me for yard sales. Im in AZ, so its usually year round. But the summer months, where its almost 100 degrees by 8am, its tough. But this year, it seems way more tough. I cannot buy enough to keep a steady flow of inventory. I never been this low in my store. For like a month I was hitting a groove and finding a lot of good stuff in a very small "pond" of sales. but then this month, I am maybe able to find 3-5 sales each weekend and coming home with maybe 1 or 2 items. I mean its bad. So bad, I got desperate for inventory recently and bought some electronics and well, lets just say Im out at least $100. Its just crazy how bad it has gotten. If it wasnt for estate sales, I would have nothing at all. Thrift stores are slim pickings. I might just go back to buying storage units, just to get some inventory. Then all the low end stuff, just have a yard sale of my own to drum up some cash.

I'm still doing really well here in Colorado, but competition continues to increase and the number of sales has dropped a tad. You're really in a tough spot because of how unpopulated your area is, compared to a large metro. When I was in Wilmington NC it was a huge struggle because there were only so many sales in driving distance and if they sucked, that was it for the week. You should probably try to expand into some different categories since you can't simply count on your area to have enough of the things you buy to fuel your business year-round. I learned glassware last winter as an offseason project and it helped me a lot now that my old niche (cameras) has become massively exposed over the past 12-17 months.

Sales in Missoula area are the same. Way fewer sales and just a find here and there

Wow that’s was a ton of video game consoles and games. I don’t even look for video games of consoles anymore. Unless it’s a bolo game or SNES games. Had a few consoles returns and the Buyer took out pieces or they complain about scratches looking for a partial refund. Almost as bad as dealing with Funko collectors. That’s going to be fun testing out the games and consoles. Definitely, try to sell locally.

My yard sale season socks for me 😅 , last year was reallyyyyy good for me , not this year si far , haven't found much lately and when I found I do a bad buy 😅 like today , 60$ for 30 wii games , 2 a piece but nothing to good, I think I will make 30 or 40 maybe after selling everything, bad buy for sure
