Yes even before deleting it. It definitely made the turbo noise more pronounced. Especially with the intake! I miss it a lot but I hope to have another one one day!

Factory turbo. They say you really only need to swap it when doing the stage three tune. I did read that running a straight pipe could cause the turbo to overspool but I never had a problem with mine I actually meant to order a hi flow cat when I bought the kit but I messed up and got the straight pipe And I believe stage one is 20hp over stock And + 60ish ft lbs Stage 2 is 30hp and 75? Ft lbs But I also had to tune the dsg as well I went with Apr for that

@@bryansanders9243 Yes i stay with Factory Turbo Pull out the DPF and got a Stage 1 Software update, the Result is 140 HP around and 300 nm tourqe but as always its not enough !!!! As a option i have Hybrit Turbo or Pull out the Factory Turbo and swap to 1449 or 1549 what means 190 HP and 420 nm Tourqe

@@nicholassilvestri1804 I have come to hate and despise this car! Now, after taking it to the dealer for the DPF filter being clogged, it wont even move and is in limp mode! How the heck do you fix THAT?! Time to part it out I think!

@@beencraftn6612 i fully deleted mine with a friend and a car lift and picked up 6 mpg! It’s been reliable as hell, sounds great, and is still slow. But the major problem is you still have a DPF filter… get rid of it if you live in a state without regular inspections. Even though mines still slow, its night and day faster than stock.

@@beencraftn6612 getting rid of your emissions system fixes most of the headaches these TDI’s have. Soot clogging the intake, DPF clogging, EGR valve failure, swirl flaps breaking, turbos failing.. all expensive fixes compared to a one time delete. Way worth it IMO if you own the car long term

Turbo cars in general the consensus is use a dry element filter. So the aem intake is fine but use a different filter that doesnt require oil. One of the claims is that the oiled filter can let larger or more dust particles through. I have no proof of either side.

Yes sir I usually just pull my smoker grill trailer behind it or throw the bike rack on it but it tows fine Just a good tcm tune and keep up on the fluids The warranty is RIP’d anyways lol

About 830-1250 for just the pipes, and another 800 for the tune, all usd

After it was all said and done like 2500 parts and labor including the dsg tune as well

@@ruben9388 2010+ tdis that were auto are all DSG. 2006 tdis were they first used DSG but there is also a 5 speed regular auto. If it has DSG on the shift selector, its dsg. Ps get the dsg
