I used an old seal same size as a drift and a round steel plate and it smacked in all the way. The old seal set in a little way but plucked it out easily.

All you need to do is put blue dreadlocker on the set screw screw down to your spoke and it's good, I dirt ride And Street Ride, with the same bike, The stick on weights come off in the rough terrain, mud spots, and brush. Never had a problem with the spoke weights coming off, if they came loose then you did not put them on properly

Oh man this was a helpful video. Waay better than some videos where they basically jus skip some steps n don't explain anything. I am having problems syncing my bandit 1200s cause the dials on 1&2 are so far apart from 3&4. And no matter how much I turn the middle screw I get very little movement to sync all for....But this vid jus gave me some clues, gonna go try fiddle with it more....

I just bought a 2004 VTX 1300 with less than 20k miles on it. Yes, you read that right, 20 years old, less than 20k miles. Plot twist: I bought it from a guy here in Texas who sadly got flooded in the recent rains. It took on about a foot and a half of water. He's a friend and too old to ride these days so he told me "$500 and it's yours", so clearly I couldn't turn THAT shit down. Clearly I have my work cut out for me, but I'm happy to do it. Here's the thing, I've RIDDEN for 15 years, but I've never ONCE turned a wrench on a motorcycle. Plenty of cars, and I'm an HVAC mechanic by trade, so I likely have the "mechanical knowledge and skill set" to do the work that needs to be done. That said, I'm always happy to take advice. I've found the owners manual online, but CLEARLY I'm gonna need some parts, and what I DON'T see in the manual are PARTS BREAKDOWN AND PARTS NUMBERS. Curious if anyone here knows where I can find what I guess would be called the "SERVICE" manual, with breakdowns and part numbers. This was a great video btw, you made me even more excited to get mine cleaned up and on the road!

I (social media team) learned from Shane the service manuals don't supply part numbers (only for tools). I don't know where to get them but he would. That's a good question for Shane directly. Help! 2006 Suzuki C50. You say those two holes in the bottom, one is a fill hole and the other a return hole. Just that simple. NO It's NOT that simple. One hole has an L-shaped thingy over it, and I"m wondering if there should be a needle valve or a ball and spring under that. There is nothing. My brake cylinder doesn't "pump" any fluid at all and I'm betting it has something to do with these two holes. What can be done. Can they be serviced or do I need to replace the entire cylinder? BTW, I took the guts out of the cylinder as shown in this video and there is no visible wear or dirt.

Great video, and very informative and helpful. Fun fact for gear heads: Japan uses JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) which looks similar to Philips, but there are fitment differences between the bits -- which is why those screws were hard to get out. Philips head screwdriver with JIS screws. It's a sloppy fit.

I have an issue. How to you find TDC if the harmonic balancer has been replaced and it doesn't have a mark on it? There's no mark on the harmonic balancer in order to align with the indicator on the engine. What's the simplest way to get it to TDC? The vehicle is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4.0 engine
