I had the Acessa procedure in August 2023. I have not had my cycle since my surgery I’m very worried I went into menopause. I have pain in my left ovary I’m worried I’m headed to ob gyn for a recheck.

Exactly, he is ignorant. I’ve met him and when it was discovered that my hemoglobin was below 7.9 . He still wanted to pursue the procedure. I was scared and not to mention. The procedure for myomectomy is so supposed to save the uterus. I was given consent form for hysterectomy instead of myomectomy. I was so terrified and was told repeatedly that I was at high risk . But not one time he had concerns of rescheduling the procedure to get my blood levels at normal state . The worst experience ever. Plus , I’ve fly out to Chicago for the procedure. It was the worst experience ever .

Thank you Soror Quad. I had my Acessa procedure Tuesday and I’m on day 5 of recovery. I feel great and I did not experience any pain. A little sore at the entry points but it’s not painful. This new treatment is a great option and I can’t wait to see how my life changes!

Get a 2nd opinion and find a OB that does the Acessa procedure. I was told the same. I’m 38 and had the procedure yesterday. Minimal pain and recovery will be fast.

Please don't let them. Do a lot of vegan dishes (real vegan food not processed vegan food like hot dogs burgers italian beef vegan cakes etc) Have fruits, salads, green vegs, green juice fast on certain days, smoothies. Legumes, chickpeas etc... NOTE: It is crucial to cut out processed foods like sugar, flour, corn, grain, pasta, cookies, cakes (all the whites). etc Check out Dr. Berg video if you prefer a keto or carnivore diet. Try these as a start for healing and continue to do your research on natural supplements to include. Also look into iodine as an addition. Check out Dr. Berg video on iodine. But look at some other women testimonies on how iodine have helped them during their menses and fibroids. If you consider one of the procedures in this video it is still crucial to follow this type of diet or at least a whole food diet at best (which is you can eat any thing in its natural form but of it is made into something like a hot dog, cookie, doughnut, bread it is notnatural. An chicken is a chicken, egg, steak or veg lifestyle ( vegetables, fruits, legumes chickpeas etc....

I had terrible fibroids,undiagnosed for years working at a drawing board,barely able to function. I became dangerously anaemic and crashed my car. I at last was diagnosed and down for total hysterectomy. I was a single breadwinner of 3 teenagers. Long story,but the operation changed my life. If you’ve had your children,get rid of all the paraphernalia- you don’t need it. It’s just a home for cancer etc is what my doctor told me,and watching my friends dying one by one.I’m inclined to agree. That operation freed me to do wonderful things impossible before. Go for it !
