1st - so happy that I found this channel! (I already subscribe to your CoolVision channel - which was very helpful when researching for my May/June 2024 trip to Central Asia - the 5 “Stans” plus the 3 Caucus countries). On that trip, where I unfortunately was only able to spend a few days in each country, there did seem to be a bit of nostalgia for USSR days from older individuals - most prominently, of the 4 countries in this YT episode, in Kazakkstan. That said, nostalgia seemed based more on cost-of-living than anything else. Such friendly people who were proud of their countries! Brightest future? If I had to pick just one, perhaps Kazakhstan IF nepotism & corruption can be decreased somewhat.

I was a week in Moscow, best city I have ever been. Clean and tidy. Friendly people and amazing architecture! If everybody would speak English and without the war I would love to work and live there.

The sanctions and hateful rhetoric in the media here in the Netherlands only made me like Russia and Russians more. By the way, the camera you use is high quality. It looks like 2160p but it's actually only 1080p.
