Ironically it was crap construction wood guitars than had me making large sanding blocks from squares of MDF to sand down the early and late rings equally on pine/fir etc. Thanks for the nice words and I have something slightly unexpected to bring if I can get it finished. Usual shape, but with a 3/4 scale length and 1/2 size body. And a 30" bass.

Wow, you are a so courageous. A topic people, men especially, need to talk more. I've been through IVF (15 years ago),they couldn't find a reason why she couldn't get pregnant, they just said I had abnormal sperm. I feel for you. I found the vlog due to just finding your narrowboat channel, and watching the back log. You both seem a wonderful couple and happy. I wish you both a happiness.

Much like domestic abuse with men (something I know about), the more people who come forward and tell their story the more it can be understood. I wanted to say something that wasn't trite or a platitude. But issues need more brave people like you to do so.

Very interested in this list. I'm only three necks deep into making guitars, so I won't have any deep insight. I know stainless steel frets laughed at my Wilko files, but the ones we found in my Wife's Grandad's shed made short work of them :)

It's actually reassuring to see the tinyness of your workshop and the quality guitars you can turn out there. You're right to embrace it. I've got overexcited today now I've installed ceiling lights in mine and can see what's going on :) Any news on the return of the podcast, or is that on full hiatus for now?

Yeah, that's a beautiful looking guitar, I can see why you'd want another crowd puller like that on display when you start doing shows again.
