see i think i made the mistake of buying low density foam when i wanted high density, cuz when i use my heatgun on it. it melts cuts back together instead of spreading them :(

Small correction. You can and I definitely do use a hairdryer. It is actually better for me because the hairdryer won’t get as hot as a heat gun. It is better than my heat gun for small more intricate projects. So use either or.

Quick question for priming wich one do you think is better out of the 2 you mentioned. Its my first time making a Pharah cosplay armor from eva foam and I want to make sure Im doing it right
@cosplayshopyt4 күн бұрын
I can highly recommend cospaint primer color! It's half primer half paint. comparable with flexbond in a way. It can also be sprayed when thinned down using a compressor sprayer. but it has a real high pigment and coverage -SkyShark

I’m a long time fan of using worbla. While I’d have a better time making mostly foam props, I like to wear my cosplays for years to come and I’m super clumsy. Not only is worlba much sturdier, but I’ve had an easier time repairing worbla props and armor than foam. Biggest downside is that worlba armor sure isn’t comfy, isn’t easy to transport, and is a lot heavier. I still love the stuff though!
