So surreal. They were from obscurity to become the biggest band in the world only to recede back into becoming virtual unknown to new generations of music fans in American.

Nobody is better than Led Zeppelin, that solo was improvised, & the next concert it would be different.

1976 one of the greatest live albums of all-time ✌️🙂 Everyone and I mean everyone bought this album Frampton guitar work on the whole album is fantastic especially this song 🙂🎸 The TalkBox work is pure magic and the crowd lost their minds when he kicked that baby into high gear. It takes a few plays but you can start to make out words. ..but Joe Walsh used one a couple of years before on.... Rocky Mountain Way !

Firstly, this is a great song from a great band. Secondly, "Hello Hooray" is a song in which Alice Cooper is able to demonstrate that he is actually a skilled singer, above and beyond the ability of many frontmen that exist in the Rock and Roll genre. Alice Cooper is a talented musician and very much deserves his success.

They could do it all. From opera to metal. And all four could sing. They were live just as good as in a studio. Great born musicians. Greatest band ever.

yeah, this was a concept album, that got turned into a movie. It helps to watch the movie The Wall and it's kind of a musical movie, with the group doing all the songs in the movie.

I don't know who suggested Take It on The Run to you. It is such a mediocre song. I can't say I'm a huge REO fan, but I do know brilliance when I hear it. And Roll With the Changes is one fine example.

He was meeting his girl, he thought she hated him or stood him up, which was a saying back then, like ghosting someone irl….then, at the end of the song realizes she wasn’t dissing him, he was just on the wrong block, he had the place where they were to meet mixed up, or wrong.

Dark, heavy, haunting lyrics about mundane existence, pain,anguish, misery, depression, anxiety, stress, severe mental breakdown & maybe a mental disorder of sorts. To me it's someone reaching their breaking point thats why he ends it with "many miles away", it can be interpreted so many ways though,but I love this song,♡♡🫶🏼🎸👨🏻🎤👩🏻🎤🧑🏻🎤

You picked the right version! You want the version with Kevin on vocals
@dathorndike49085 ай бұрын
The REO singer that we all are familiar with, Kevin Cronin, did not sing on the original studio version of this song. This live version was the only version with Kevin' vocals before an unreleased take was found with his vocal and released on an REO compilation album.
@dathorndike49085 ай бұрын
You are very correct. Early REO was VERY different from the sappy radio ballads that became hits. This is from the 70's period of the band when they still knew how to rock.
